It was a Saturday morning. The same Saturday that Adham told his classmate that he would text her. He had his phone opened to her contact. He did know what to send her, which was very shocking because it's his first time to actually start the texting. Like to plan the whole date. Was it a date?

'What should I say? How should I say it? Why is this girl so confusing?'  he thought.

Adham decided to wait a little. It was only nine in the morning. He decided to hop onto Snapchat and send that streaks that every teenager cared about the most these days. He steps out to the patio and sends a selfie flashing is adored dimples that made every girl fall for him. It was his favorite feature of himself.

After it has reached all his admirers, Adham closed his screen

After it has reached all his admirers, Adham closed his screen. Just staring at the reflection of his face on the dark screen, waiting for her text. He lets out a long sigh as he leans back in the chair of the dinning table. He looks outside the patio's door as his hands grips his orange juice cup tightly.

He is the one who told her that he wants to hang out with him. Why the hell isn't he doing any effort  of doing so?

The truth is Adham wasn't used to doing much effort, it was texting, hanging out a little, and sometimes he gets what he normally wanted. Sex.

It was a game. Love is a game. To him.

As Adham gets up to pour himself another cup of fresh orange juice. His mother, drowning in work. She chose to do so. She couldn't bare seeing her only son waste his youth instead of studying for his coming SAT exam.

As Adham looks over his phone while drinking, his phone lights up and dings. The sound echos throughout the Kitchen. He rushes toward the phone, he stumbles over the carpet under the dinning table and falls to the ground. "Ow..." he sighs and gets back up, rubbing his jaw. "Ugh," he moans as he tries to get up.

Adham stands up at he sees his bright screen. The lock screen had Caleb's name texting them on the group. Adham rolls his eyes.
