Persia.
You knew a bit about Ancient Rome and his disappearance, and you couldn't help but wonder what happened to other Ancients— in this situation, the Persian Empire.
You decided to visit Iran, knowing Iran was one of Persia's grandchildren.
Maybe, you would run into him there?

And low and behold, around two hours into exploring Teheran, the capital of Iran, you'd ran into a young-looking man, who after realizing you weren't just any human, but a personification, told you and claimed to be the Persian Empire.

He seemed to be at ease around you, and obviously knew the area well.
A smooth talker, though carefully choosing his words; relaxed, but cautious of other people.
