Lydia smiled at her mother as she gushed about Max. She was happy for her. She needed this move from their dad. "I really like him Lydia, there's something so different about him". Lucy said sighing. She stood up and placed the dirty cups into the sink. She grabbed there bowls and she started to wash them. She hummed gently to herself, smiling like a lovesick fool. Lydia smiled and turned her head as she saw her younger brother walking in. He smiled slightly at his sister and made him self something to eat. "Now Sam I'm going to work at 6 until midnight tonight. You can either go out to the broadwalk with your sister or stay here but i swear I better not recieve another call from you screaming at the top of your lungs, you scared me half to death". Lucy said kissing her son gently on the forehead.

Once Lucy left the kitchen Lydia looked at her brother with a raised eyebrow. "What happened and don't lie to me this time". She muttered. Sam sighed and looked down at his bowl. "Michael's a vampire". Lydia snorted and burst out laughing. "Oh Sam you do sure know how to make me laugh. It's those comics your reading from now on don't accept them from those boys". She ruffled her brothers hair before moving into the living room. "Want any help with the chores mom?" She asked smiling.

They spent most of the day doing chores. After dinner Lucy got ready for work. Lydia and Sam both waited for her in the kitchen. Lydia watched her brother carefully. He looked like he was on edge. She looked at the door expecting her mother to walk through but instead it was Michael. She could see Sam getting more nervous. He stood up quickly and said. "Come on Lydia lets wait outside for mom it's to hot in here". He wouldn't even look at Michael. Lydia nodded and watched as he raced out the kitchen. "What's happened to the two of you?" She asked quietly. Michael looked at her and shrugged. She shook her head and stood right in front of him. "You better change your attitude Michael. He is your brother. You should be protecting him but instead your shutting him away like the rest of us. Now we will be on the broadwalk if you decide to leave the house. Which I already know you will".

She turned around and stormed out the house. She smiled at Sam as she sat beside him on the step. "I really want to go back to Arizona". Sam muttered his head on his knees. Lydia smiled sadly at him and gently rubbed his back. The front door opened and they where greeted with there smiling mother. "You ready". She said. Lydia smiled and stood up. She sat in beside her mom and caught her brothers eye in the mirror. "You look nice mom". Lydia said smiling. Lucy turned and smiled widely at her daughter. The car journey was quiet but peaceful. Lucy parked up outside the video store. "Here's some money, now stick together okay". She said. She smiled as she watched her two chilren run of hand in hand.

"I'm going to the comic book store okay". Sam said smiling softly at his sister. Lydia nodded and said. "I'm gonna check what type of music is on. We will meet back here at midnight alright. Any sooner yoy know where to find me". She said smiling. Sam nodded. He knew Lydia would hate hanging with him and the Frog brothers. They where his only friends here and she didn't want to make it arkward. She watched as her brother safely entered the comic book store. Lydia bt her lip and started to walk in the mass of the crowd. She could sense soon afterwards that someone was following her. She made her way down to where the seating areas was, her sight was good with the stage. She sat down and looked up.

"Why are you following me?" She asked Star. Star looked at her with her dark eyes. Her soft, dark hair was lightly blowing in the air. "I was just wondering if Michael had said anything to you". She answered. Lydia scoffed and gave Star a dirty look. "You should no very well how my brother is". Star frowned and asked softly. "What is that supposed to mean?" Lydia shook her head and answered. "You, since he came here all he has done is obsessed over you. He stay's out all night and sleeps all day. He has become extremely grumpy, always snapping at me, my brother and even are mother. Since he has been hanging with you and your friends he has changed and I really think it's time you leave him alone". Star glared at the younger girl.

"You don't own Michael, Lydia. He can make his own decisions and I personally feel he will be hanging with us much more, especially for your safety". Lydia stood up and glared deeply at Star. She wasn't afraid of this girl. "Are you treatening me?" She asked. Star's expresssion softened. "No Lydia I'm looking out for you". Lydia shook her head and said. "Make sure you tell your friends and this goes for you to stay away from Michael. Don't look at him and don't talk to him". Her back stifened as she heard someone say. "Why don't you tell us yourself".
