"Just tell me if Camila is okay?" Lauren spoke up after seven minutes of agonizing silence. "She's going to be fine, Harry won't hurt her, just like I won't hurt you." Zayn said. Lauren let out a small laugh, and sighed. "Why are you laughing?" Zayn asked.

"Because all of this, everything that led up to this moment has got to be some fucking sick joke... this can't be real life. I'm supposed to be cuddled up with you watching movies about this kind of shit, not actually living it." she could feel her lip trembling, and she layed her head against the window. "Did you have this planned the whole time?"

"No.. none of this was supposed to happen. My intentions for this Summer were good. It was just going to be you and I. Then Perrie came back, and Liam he got in the way, and then Harry and Louis... I just filled with this rage and adrenaline. I fell twice as hard for you everytime that I got to listen to your laughter, and look into those green eyes, and don't even get me started on the sex."

"Alright, you can save this lovey dovey shit when you're writing letters in prison. You aren't getting away with this.." Zayn nodded, and started tapping on the steering wheel.

"You weren't supposed to go back there.." Zayn suddenly said. "Out back, you were supposed to stay inside. That's why Harry or I are always back there when you or Camila have been recently. We knew you were going to wander off, and find what you found."

"So Harry did help you kill Perrie?"

Lauren breathed.

"No. He knew about it, but he had nothing to do with it. I didn't even initially start the job. I just helped.."

"What do you even mean? Did Niall help you kill her? Is that why he left his apartment? Why is he back now? There is nothing here for him."

"Lauren, shhh. Please. Just, you'll get answers soon. I promise." Zayn said focusing on the road, not even giving Lauren a second glance.

Lauren recognized where they were, she followed Zayn on this road just yesterday when her and Camila were on a mission with their made up detective agency. Everything was so much simpler yesterday.

They were going to that house Zayn had dropped food off at. Adam's house that he gave Zayn a key to. Who or what was in that house?

Lauren didn't understand what she did to deserve any of this. She'd been such a kind hearted person to this point in her life.

What would her parents think if she didn't make it out of this alive? What would Dinah, Ally, and Normani think?

Lauren's stomach started growling, and Zayn turned to her. "Don't worry, we're almost at our destination. I'll get you food then."

"Don't give me anything, for all I know, you'll drug me again."

"Again, that wasn't my intention."

"I don't care about what your initial intentions were Zayn, this is the current situation, and you're intended thoughts aren't helping that."

"You're right." he said making a left turn.

Most lights in the homes were off, and the streets were vacant. A few cars here and there, yards away from the other. Zayn stopped his car in front of the home that Lauren, and her best friend had staked out the previous day.

The home was dark, but Lauren could see dim lighting coming from one room upstairs. That's it. One light in that entire house was on.

Niall's white car was parked across the street from Zayn's, and it hit her. "Has Niall been staying here? Is that who you brought the groceries to?"

"How do you know about that?"

"I followed you."

"Wow.." Zayn chuckled, irritated. "Looks like you've got a secret of your own."

"No worse then what you've got going on." Lauren stared out the window and up to the attic upstairs. She couldn't see any shadows moving around upstairs, but she knew Camila was up there with psycho number 2 and 3.

Zayn turned the car off, and got out, he walked around to Lauren's side and let her out. "Don't try to run, or scream." he warned her. He said it nonchalantly, but Lauren knew that it was a threat.

She followed Zayn up to the house, the door was unlocked and he pushed it open. Lauren stood there in the dark for a moment as Zayn locked up the door once more. Lauren could feel cold air all around her, and she shivered.

"Hello?" Zayn called out, his voice echoing off the walls.

Suddenly, the lights to the living room turned on. Lauren took in the horrible green paint job on the walls, the raggedy cheddar orange couch in the center of the living room, and the small wooden coffee table. Lauren squinted her eyes as she tried to focus on the necklace on the table. She recognized the small diamond heart pendant and gasped.

Footsteps creaked from upstairs, and Lauren watched the staircase, waiting for someone to appear. "Lauren..." the person said as they rushed down the stairs. Lauren gasped when she proccessed the smaller girl approaching her. "ALLY?!"
