as i wiped down another dirty table, my mind brought back memories of yesterday
i still can't believe i took a girl i had barely known outside, and made out with her
i mean it's not like it's not something i wouldn't do
but she made me nervous and boosted my confidence to try and impress her at the same time

too bad i didn't even get her number
after i kissed her again when that blonde boy was the being chased by the blonde girl, it suddenly became awkward between us
i had really enjoyed the kiss, and she did as well, i know it

i was about to ask her for her number, and to see if i could maybe see her again
she stated that she needed to leave for 'something' and gave me a smile and left, not leaving me with a chance to talk
i should have called out her name, i just stood there frozen as she walked back into the restaurant
when i walked back inside after a couple of minutes, her only her blonde friends were at the table, and it looked like they were arguing
and the brunette that was on a 'date' with mackenzie was flirting with annie, one of my best friends since forever
i mean i'm pretty sure mackenzie and the brunette knew that nothing was going to happen between them
i silently laughed to myself as i finished cleaning the table
i was going to ask the blondes for her number, but i didn't want to get in between their bickering
right after my shift ended, annie and i walked home together and talked about what happened
she told me she had gotten the boys name, which was hayden (#wherearehiseyebrows), and that she was meeting him tomorrow
she laughed at my story, and said that she knew that mackenzie was going to come back tomorrow, and she wanted bet on it
i bet her twenty dollars that mackenzie wasn't going to come tomorrow
now i'm lowkey hoping that she does
that would mean i would lose twenty dollars, but i believe she's worth more than that
as i was walking to the kitchen to wash the dishes, i didn't notice the brunette walking towards me
she wasn't paying attention either, and as
we collided, and the plates and beer cups that were on the tray i was balancing went flying into the air
and the girl fell in front of me, and i fell on my butt
and the cups that still had beer in them, spilt all over me
the cups and plates then fell on the floor, after what felt like eternity, and most broke into pieces
people that were close started to stare, and it got quiet very quickly
great! i caused a ruckus, caught the attention of people in the restaurant, hurt the girl, and now i'm going to smell like beer for the rest of my shift
