I yelled and hid behind Jimin and hugged him tightly. Jimin also let out a yelp. I blushed as I inhaled Jimin's lovely cologne. In front of us stood a man who smiled so widely that he looked like a bunny.

"Jungkook?" Jimin started off. Jungkook ran forward and squeezed Jimin in a hug. Jimin instantly stepped back and collided into me.

"Oof!" I gasped as I fell... Into Jimin's arms. He smirked as he caught me and put me back on my feet. Now I was really blushing.

"T-Thanks..." I mumbled.

"Annyeonghaseyo!" Jungkook greeted me. I greeted him back.

"Miss Kim, this is Mr Jeon Jungkook. He's going to be working with you," Jimin said. I nodded excitedly. My heart was fluttering. I had a crush on Jungkook. But it was more of a fangirl type of crush. Not a real romantic crush. I shook Jungkook's hand.

"Wait. We have three people and two beds..." I trailed off. I could feel Jimin smirking.

"Miss Kim can share a bed with me and Jungkook can sleep on her original b-" Jimin started.

"OR!" I cut him off with a glare.

"OR, since I'm a FEMALE, Jungkook and you can sleep in the same bed," I growled. Poor Jungkook looked so lost in the tension. Jimin shrugged.

"Or we could do that too," Jimin agreed reluctantly.

It was the night of the fancy ball. Emphasis on fancy. I only had a plain silver dress but it complimented my figure. I came out of the bathroom. My hair was lightly curled and I had put on a slight blush since I didn't love makeup. Jimin was clad in an elegant suit like Jungkook. I couldn't help but stare at Jimin. Jimin chuckled.

"Miss Kim~" Jimin teased, directing his eyes to mine. Realising that he caught be staring, I blushed. Jungkook was jumping up and down enthusiastically. He walked over to me.

"Want to be my date tonight?" Jungkook asked with a wink. Jimin suddenly pulled me towards me.

"She's already my date," Jimin said flatly. Jungkook just nodded. I looked up at Jimin. Okay? I guess I'm Jimin's date then.

I fell onto my bed in my comfy pajamas, tears streaming down my face. It had been an awful night. I knew that Jungkook and Jimin were too mad to come after me.

| FLASHBACK |

I mingled around the crowd while Jimin held onto my hand. His warm touch sent shivers up my spine. In a good way. It was all going well. Until...

"Hey, Jimin, why don't we see who's stronger?" Jungkook teased. Jimin frowned.

"Why?" Jimin asked, his grip loosening on mine. Jungkook suddenly seized this opportunity to hug me. I was very confused.

"What?!" I exclaimed. At this point of time, a crowd was forming. Jungkook gave me a peck on my forehead.

"I love you, Jae Rin," Jungkook giggled. His breath reeked of wine. He was drunk. Too drunk. Unfortunately, Jimin wasn't. Jimin punched Jungkook who fell.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" Jimin screamed at Jungkook. The crowd gasped at the drama. I stood there, traumatised.

"WHY'D YOU KISS HER?!" Jimin demanded. Jungkook simply giggled.

"She loves me," Jungkook sent a flirtatious wink that didn't help.

"Do you?" Jimin asked me calmly. Too calmly. I was frozen in fear and shock. It was a VERY sudden turn of events. Sensing my silence, Jimin, unfortunately, took it as a yes. That was when the fight broke out. I didn't like being the reason of the fight, so I did the only thing I could think of.

I ran back to my hotel room.

| END OF FLASHBACK |

My chest heaved and my shoulders shook as I cried. I hated that they were fighting of me. It was something in my childhood that made me realize this. When I was 8, and Mother and Father were still together, I had gotten into trouble. Mother and Father argued so much about it that Mother claimed it was ME that made them drift apart and eventually divorce.

Sadness racked through me as I sobbed. I hated being the root of the problem. My mind had flashbacks of Jimin's usual bright eyes turning dark when I didn't reply. I screamed int my pillow and kicked at my blanket to release my anger. My anger of Mother leaving Taehyung and I and everything.

Unable to think straight due to my anger, I whipped out my phone and dialed Ji Yeon.

"Hi~" Ji Yeon chirped. I let out a sob and sniffle.

"WHAT'S WRONG?!" Ji Yeon immediately screamed.

"J-Jimin..." I managed to say.

"WHAT DID THAT BASTARD DO?! OMG! HOW DARE HE MAKE YOU CRY! WHEN I SEE HIM, I'LL-" Ji Yeon started.

"He fought," I blurted. Ji Yeon stopped.

"What?" she asked.

"He fought," I repeated.

"Why?!" Ji Yeon demanded.

"Because," I sniffled.

"Of me," I finished. Ji Yeon went silent.

"What happened?" Ji Yeon asked comfortingly.

"The ball was going well. Then Jungkook became drunk and kissed me on my forehead and said that he loved me and vice versa. And Jimin asked if it was true and I was too scared and shocked to reply so Jimin thought I did so he stared punching Jungkook. I ran because I didn't want to cry there," a train of words left my mouth.

"Rinnie, breathe. Get the first plane ticket back here. I don't want you staying there any more," Ji Yeon said.

"Wha-" I was about to protest.

"DONE! I booked you the earliest flight back! It's in two hours! Get to the airport!" Ji Yeon said.

I had no other idea, so I followed.

I stared out the window of the plane and sighed at the gloomy sky.

Soon, the plane landed.

The process of getting to collect my luggage was blurred since the images of the fight were replaying in my head. I knew Ji Yeon was waiting to fetch me, but I couldn't help but let another tear loose. I dragged my luggage along with me when two strong arms wrapped around my shoulders. I smelled that same lovely cologne.
