Mate's Forever!?

CHAPTER 8: Two Months Later......

LIAM

There were no words to express how happy and excited I was hearing that I was going to be a father. 

I wish that I had not found out the way that I did but I know that that was my fault. 

The day after the whole incident with Lydia, I told everyone to make sure that she had stayed away from us and to never cross onto our territory again. 

There was a huge part of me that didn't trust Lydia. I know she had something up her sleeves and knew she would stop at nothing to make sure she tried to get to Astrid. So I guess you could say my new security measures were a bit extreme but thankfully, Astrid understood. 

"Baby are you ready? Me and the baby are starving!" I hear her call out to me from downstairs. 

"Coming!" I call back to her as I finish putting my shirt on and spraying myself with her favorite scent by Axe. 

When I made my way downstairs, I grabbed the keys and we began heading out. 

Astrid looked so cute with her small baby bump but man did her cravings get weirder and more frequent than usual. One of the first things I remember her asking me for were pickles with chocolate ice cream. In which to be honest, almost made me gag while getting it for her. Then luckily her cravings recently have just been things like barbecue, tacos from Jack In The Box and lots and lots of fruit. 

She was eating real healthy for the most part with the pregnancy but for every dinner meal, that's when she'd give herself a treat in whatever she felt like having. 

The doctor said she was healthy as well as the baby. Today in fact, was gonna be the day that we went to the doctor's to find out the sex of the baby. Our pack doctor asked us to go to his place since that's where all his equipment was at. 

While driving over we both began discussing names for if rather or not it was a girl or boy and seemed to be going back and forth for the names, neither one of us wanting to give in to the other's choices. 

Once we arrived and walked inside, he was all ready for us and had Astrid lay down on the bed and took out some cold gel and began placing it onto her belly, making her laugh at how cold it was and then I took hold of her hand as he began showing us the heartbeat and then the size of our baby. 

Then we heard him ask us the question we have been waiting to hear. 

"So, would you like to know the sex of your baby?" He asks us. 

Both Astrid and I take in deep breaths and let it out while smiling at one another before looking back at him. 

"Yes." We told him in unison. 

"Well then, congratulations! You guys are gonna have yourselves a baby girl." He announces. 

Both Astrid and I begin to tear up as he prints us out a picture of our baby and we both stared at the picture for a moment and then looked back at one another as I kissed her on the lips. 

"I love you baby." I tell her. 

"I love you too." She smiles. 

We couldn't wait to tell everyone once we got home. So as soon as we walked in, everyone seemed to have been waiting for us as we notice them all standing around, looking at us. 

"So?" Bullet asks. 

"We're gonna have a baby girl!" Astrid and I announced to everyone excited. 

Everybody cheered and congratulated us and then after giving hugs and thanking them, one of the guys from the pack asked us something we seemed to have not yet decided on. 

"So, what are you gonna call her?" Someone announced. 

Both Astrid and I looked at one another and then smiled as we seemed to have then and there decide on the name. 

"The name of our daughter is going to be Winter James." I tell them. Which, Winter was her choice for a girl and James was mine for a boy. 

As I told everyone, I felt like it was a strong name. Which I know she will be since she has Astrid as her mother and me as her father. She will be daddy's girl but also, daddy's little bad ass.

Sorry for the late chapter. But I will post a chapter for both this story and The Future Alpha King and His Luna! :):) Plus, the reason I also waited for them to find out the sex in two months really, was cause they weren't sure if rather or not they wanted to know. ;)
