After debuting, you were constantly on your tippy toes, wondering if people from your school saw No More Dream and knew you were in it.You were excited and giddy for no reason. Maybe you had some left over adrenaline you gained from all the takes for the music video. You knew that literally no one would have seen it - probably...most likely - but a boy of sixteen can dream. And dream you did because you didn't have anything better to do.
You were sitting with your friends who were gushing at how cool you looked while kicking a bin over and riding a bike into the scene. "Oooo, hyung, you look so cool!" Sunha awed as you rapped. Taehyung was right beside you, doing his own thing as you wrote graffiti on the wall "How do you rap like that? You're like a snake!" Hayoon said, watching the video again for like the tenth time the day.
"I got professional help," you snickered. By professional help, you meant Namjoon and Yoongi
There was a group of girls near your table and you noticed that they kept on giggling while looking at your direction. They would hide the faces and stare at their notebooks before looking at you again. It was weird and you felt awkward, but you kept on answering your friends questions.
"Excuse me?"
Everyone looked up, even you, wondering who she was. She looked timid and shy as she held a notebook in her hand. She had her hair in plats and had a side fringe that she constantly flicked to the side.
You thought she was funny.
Your friends stared at her before Soonae just sighed while getting comfy in her seat. She had enough of this awkward staring contest. "Do you need something?" Soonae asked, raising an eyebrow that wasn't seen because of her fringe.
The girl fiddled with her notebook before pushing it towards you, her bottom lip hiding away from being bitten. "I-I'm a fan of your group, BTS. I know you're a new group and I know your not as big as ShinEE or Big Bang, but I really like the message you put out. Can I have an autograph?" She told you. Her hands were shaking as she held out her blue notebook with anime stickers and littered drawings sketches here and there.
Now this shocked you. One month from debuting and people were already asking you for your autograph. It seemed like a dream, or really someone's fantasy scenarios being put into the internet, since everything was happening so fast. Even so, you calmed yourself down before you were going to explode from awkwardness, and you took the notebook and flicked to a random page.
There was a drawing of an orchid hastily sketched and shaded as if she was hurrying it. However, the drawing was well done, even when it was swiftly drawn. "You're a good artist," you commented before realising what you blurred out. Of course. Your mouth ran off with your words.
"A-ah, thank you oppa," she quietly said. Her voice sounded so shy and, dare you say it, cute, so you smiled a bit before skipping to the first blank page you saw to scribble down your signature. At the age of sixteen, you never really thought of your signature. So really, you just wrote your name hastily on the paper and made fancy flicks and turns to make it seem professional before scribbling a little message to the girl.
You gave back the notebook with a polite smile and a wave of goodbye. The girl looked so happy and pleased before bowing and running off to her friends who looked shocked and amazed at what their friend did. Before you knew it, three other girls came and asked for your autograph with notebooks of their own and determined looks on their faces.
You felt so happy signing and giving the girls their own personal messages of their own. You looked at what they had in their notebooks to determine if they had tests on a certain subject or if they liked drawing. Then you wrote a small encouraging message along with your signature before giving back the notebooks with a kind smile.
"You're already gaining fans, Jihyun," Baehyun said with a smile, glancing at the girls who were chatting profusely with each other while staring at their notebooks. You nodded and hummed. It felt so surreal.
"See?" Hayoon said, gaining everyone's attention. When you looked at her eyes, she held a knowing look and raised a finger to her nose and tapped it, something she did when she knew something others didn't "You're destined to be famous and make music. It's your fate!"
Now that was something you didn't hear from a lot of people. You laughed, expectedly, and rolled your eyes at your overly dramatic friend "You wish,"
