I woke up the next morning in Jimmy’s arms, both of us naked, tangled in the sheets, still somewhat sticky from the chocolate sauce. I propped myself up on my elbow and looked down at him as he slept. His lips were slightly parted and he was snoring softly, his gorgeous eyelashes rested on his cheeks. I smiled to myself and leaned down and kissed his cheek softly before slipping out of his grasp and tiptoeing into the attached bathroom. I turned on the shower and let it warm up for a minute before stepping in and washing up.

I was in the shower for about a half hour, the water pressure was amazing and the temperature was perfect, it was hard to pull myself out of there but I did. I stepped out and wrapped a big fluffy towel around myself and stepped back into the room. Jimmy’s bed was empty. I picked up my bra and panties and put them on and was about to put my shirt on from last night when I smelled the gin on it. I tossed it onto the bed and looked around until I saw the purple plaid shirt Jimmy had on last night. I smiled, remembering how good he looked in my favorite color, as I picked it up and slipped out on. I buttoned it up and was about to grab my jeans when I smelled something amazing.

I walked out of the bedroom towards the kitchen and stopped in the doorway for a moment. He was standing there wearing nothing but a pair of sweatpants low on his hips as he cooked breakfast, and his hair was damp, he must have used the guest bathroom to shower.

I stepped up behind him and slid my arms around his waist from behind, my hands stopping just before his pecs, making him jump slightly. “What’s cookin good lookin?” I asked as I placed a few kisses along the spattering of freckles across his shoulder blades.

"Bacon, home fries, and eggs sunny side up," Jimmy answered as he put the spatula down and turned around in my arms.

"Good morning," I said and kissed him softly.

"Good morning, beautiful," Jimmy rested his hands on my hips and looked me up and down, licking his lips. "Nice shirt."

"Yeah, well, if SOMEONE hadn’t decided to practice his spit take last night, my shirt wouldn’t smell like gin right now," I sassed, raising my eyebrow at him.

He laughed and kissed my forehead before turning back to the food so it wouldn’t burn. “Sorry about that.”

"It’s ok. Just don’t make a habit out of it," I replied as I hopped up and sat on the counter near where he was cooking and crossed my legs.

"I dunno, Madelyn. If it gets you sitting in my kitchen in the morning like this I just might have to." He said, reaching over and gently squeezing my thigh before turning off the stove and putting our food on plates. "I gotta say, though.. You had me worried when I first woke up."

"Worried? How so?" I asked as I hopped of the counter and sat at the island where Jimmy had placed my plate.

"Yeah… I, uh, I woke up and you weren’t in bed with me," He rubbed the back of his neck like he’s always done when he’s nervous. "I thought you left." He smiled shyly at me. "I’ve never been so relieved to hear a shower running."

"Are you kidding me? It took 14 years to finally get here, I’ll be damned if I leave it like that. Plus you look so cute sleeping with your mouth open, snoring so I didn’t want to wake you. I just had to get the chocolate off before it became impossible to get off," I told him as he sat next to me. "After last night, you’re gonna have to smoke me out of here. You’re stuck with me, kid."

“Yeah? Last night was good?” He bit his lip as he looked over at me.

"Are you kidding me? Last night was incredible, Jimmy. YOU are incredible."

"Good, cuz I’m not planning on letting you go," Jimmy said with a grin. "And kid? Last time I checked I’m older than you, little girl." He added as he tickled my side.
