authors note:
i miss new york and i wrote a little something in regards :'(
i found myself listening to your heart on the radio. you were withheld, somewhere far along, in a place where you should and could belong.
somewhere without me
working together was all that we could do.
the few words colliding one day, and brandishing us into one
changed our forever.
we found each other millions of miles away.
we were both far away from each other and from home; our dwelling
we were worlds apart, taking one mind on a train and fingertips onto a steering wheel.
the rhythm of the heart strums and churns my car, colliding along in harmony with the sounds of the pelting rain.
and maybe the sky would deliver my feelings, which i sincerely regret, all the way to you.
thousands of miles away, maybe sitting in a coffee shop or running to the delivery man
i knew my heart
and i could hear yours.
