Before, there was nothing. An abysmal nada engulfed everything and nothing. There were no stars in the sky, and there was no sky. An eternal emptiness filled the cosmos, and a Lonely God was suspended in the infinite vastness and knew that there was nothing, and any direction it could go had nothing but the void. The Lonely God was all that was. It understood that It was a something in the vast nothing, and It found comfort in that. But something was missing, for an unending life, no matter how disciplined or content, cannot be satisfied by an inky abyss. It was alone, and It knew It was alone. The Lonely God had been solitary for its entire existence, so it decided to make something from nothing. The Lonely God gazed upon the darkness, and went to work.
