When the Attack Warning RED message set my smartphone clamouring in alarm, I knew what I had to do: Quickly I looked around - there! That was what I needed! I ran over to the manhole set into the road and using the mini pry bar I'd bought online and always keep with me set about levering the stubborn lid up. It was a tough job due to all the crud sealing it, but at last it opened! I threw my backpack down there first and sqeezed myself in after, pulling the cover on top of me as I did.
