When the car pulls up,
We’re already out the doors
Tripping over our own feet
Tired from a long day’s drive
But that won’t stop us now
It’s been a long year
Since I last drove away
But I am back here
I am happy, like I am only here
We all spin around on the steep gravel drive
I probably look like a stupid American girl
But that can’t stop me now
I am laughing like a fool-
We all are
And we couldn’t care less
If the world fell apart
Right now, as I laugh
I would keep on smiling
Because nothing can hurt me now
