AUTHOR'S NOTE: Just to let my readers know, I'm gonna update as much as I can until the early morning of August 12th, when I'll be going in to surgery for a bad disc and impingement on my spinal cord, which will prohibit me from typing for a few days. I'm getting mad that I can't update as much as I like because of it, because it shoots either weird pains down my arms or I feel like I have frostbite in my hands in July, so I'm allowing a surgeon to take care of it for me. I should be back on the 17th from it. I have to stay over one night in the hospital, but I'll be able to respond to posts and keep people up-to-date from my phone, with talk and text, which I don't have for my laptop...I just can't type or do much for the first few days, which I hate but I'll be able to go through ideas in that time and maybe have a few surprises when I come back!

Anyways, on with the story...

I saw the large wolf coming towards me, wondering if everything in this small town was inhuman...it seemed like everything was!

As if sensing something, the wolf stopped, sensing the air...I was gathering from it that it couldn't tell if I was human or not. Soon, I heard Carlisle yelling from across the river. “Jacob! She just moved in with us...she didn't know about the treaty!”

The wolf looked confused, running off and disappearing within the forest. When something came out, it wasn't the wolf, but a tall, muscular, dark-skinned boy who had a tattoo on his left shoulder. All he had on were jeans, which was weird because it was November.

He stood before me, looking over at all the Cullen's...everyone but Esme and my brother, that is...and then he looked back at me, confused. “What are you?!”

I jumped back a little, but then grew angry at that scare. How dare he! Before the Cullen's could say a word, I had him held about twenty-feet in the air, laughing in my normal guttural tone at him.

“Oh my god!” someone, I think Jasper, screamed. “What is she Carlisle?”

“I'm not sure,” Carlisle replied, looking over at Edward. Edward then looked at Jacob.

“We didn't know what she was Jacob...she just got here,” Edward said, and I was confused. How did he know what Jacob was saying if Jacob didn't say anything.

At that thought, I forgot all about my prisoner in the air and let him drop, playing everything over in my mind for some kind of clue. But then I had Jacob right in my face. “Why the hell'd you do that, leach??!!”

I looked at him, confused. Leach? He kept staring at me, finally frustration taking over, he started shaking my shoulders.

“Jacob...quit!” Another dark-skinned guy appeared beside Jacob, followed by a few others. This guy was older, however...the leader? “She can't speak!”

I looked at him, tilting my head in confusion. How'd he know that?

The guy then looked at me, smiling softly. “I knew you're parents, Bella,” he said softly, and I shook my head, not wanting to think about them. The man then came over to me and hugged me as I started to cry. Just thinking about them for a split second had opened up the dams, and I couldn't seem to force them to stop. This man held me a few moments before saying, “I'm Sam. Emily, my wife and I used to babysit for you and Toby.” I looked up at him, the tears showing on my face. Jacob and the other boys looked confused, but I ignored them, looking only at Sam, nodding at him to go on.

“You used to live here when you were born,” Sam said, taking me over to a rock to sit down. Soon, Sam nodded that the Cullen's could come over, for once, making the younger boys growl, but they allowed it, anyways. The Cullen's stood at my side as Sam talked to me.
