Itachi stared at the man infront of him time seemed to be frozen until a gentle wind blew. The Akitsuki member stood with a smile then looked at the sky. "I have returned to see if you reconsider my offer. You may need our help now more then ever, to fulfill your dreams." He then looked back at him but Itachi still wore a stoic expression. "What do you say?" "No. I do not need your help in making my dreams come true... I am in the process as we speak now if you will excuse me. I have a shop to open, customers are waiting." He walked passed him making the Akitsuki member sigh. "I see... very well then... I hope you reconsider..." they parted ways in silence after he spoke.

Itachi went inside and leaned on the door with a sigh. It was the second time they had approached him and part of him this time wanted to expect but he couldn't he had Izumi and the baby to think of he couldn't be part of a group such as the Akitsuki while trying to have a family. It wouldn't be the right place to raise a child and he knew Izumi couldn't betray her village anymore then she already had. He rubbed his face and began his day at the tea shop hoping to put all the none sense behind him. The morning was busy with people want breakfast which keep his mind busy, he gave a sigh as he looked at the customers. This was the place he wanted his children to grow up in; quiet, peaceful and happy. He knew in his heart he was making the right choice.

Izumi sat knitting scarfs and hats  on the small couch as age hummed. At noon she made a bento lunch and brought it to her husband, waving to villagers as she passed. The waiters happily greeted her, wanting to touch her stomach before she went to see Itachi. He took the bento box before she hugged him. "Izumi..." "you look as if you needed a hug. Is everything alright?" She touched his face in a lovely manner and he sighed. "Yes... everything is fine now." He touched her hand then her stomach making his wife's worried expression turned into a smile. Itachi kissed her head before she left to return to her knitting. Itachi watched her leave  before continuing his work day. He knew when he say her face that day everything was working out for the best.

Time seemed to fly by and Itachi worked long hours while
Izumi sold her knitted work for extra money knowing Itachi was worried for money especially with the baby coming. She put her knitting needles down and rubbed her stomach with a smile when she felt the baby move. "Your daddy and I can't wait to meet you little one." Itachi enjoyed watching the way she moved the larger she got, how careful she would be. It put his mind to rest though he hadn't talked to the baby much he liked to feel the baby kick and move in his wife's stomach when they sleep.

In the end of night a healthy baby boy was born in the small Yugakure hospital to Itachi and Izumi. The slightly exhausted mother held their son while Itachi stared at the picture perfect image of his new family, he stared as if he was caught in an Genjutsu as if what he looked at wasn't real. "Itachi..." his wife called bringing him back to reality. He approached her and took the tiny bundle from her. He glanced down at the sleeping child, he favored Itachi in many ways in facial features and hair color but had Izumi's eye shape and a mole under his left eye. He glanced back at his wife who had began to dozed off making him take a seat next to her and hold their baby boy. "Karasu... you are born into a village of peace. I hope you love this place just as your mother and I do. He told him as if he the infant would understand. "You are an Uchiha and you have much to live up to, but you have nothing to fear. We will guide you."

The next day the new family left the hospital to return to their home. Izumi smiled as she carried Karasu. "Welcome home my little one." Itachi watched her sit in the rocking chair as she talked to the baby tell him all about his room. He leaned on the door and watched with an amused face until Izumi smiled at him. "I'm glad he looks like you..." "I'm glad he is healthy." He approached her and gently touched the dark eyed baby's head that was cover in jet black peachfuzz like hair. Karasu made a cooing noise at the sound of his father's voice filling Itachi's heart with joy. Itachi took the next few days off to help with Karasu but soon needed to return to work but Izumi was more then capable of taking care of their baby by herself.

Work seemed to be a blur despite how much Itachi tried to focus his mind drifted back to Izumi and their child often, he constantly thought of his son's future wondering if he would take after Izumi or himself in personality wise. He let out a sigh Karasu had only been home alittle over a week but he was a good baby giving his parents little issue during this stage but Itachi knew that would change as he grew. He enjoyed watching Izumi interact with him it was the highlight of his days but he enjoyed the most when he held Karasu while Izumi cooked. He stared at the child as he slept. His life was perfect in that moment. He couldn't want anything more, he had a loving wife, a healthy child, a nice home, a good job... his life was a dream come true yet something in the bottom of his heart was missing.
