The party was going good just as I hoped it would. Everyone was having fun,  while dancing and talking to people. I'm not a party person at all but somehow this all felt some type of right. Currently I'm sitting on the couch in the living room on my phone watching people dance when someone walks up to me. I'm about to look up when I feel something cold and wet hit my head.

"Oops I'm sorry I've must've to tripped over my foot." Hayley said. Of course I should've known that coming here in nice clothes was not going to make it out clean.

"And this is for coming here with my boyfriend." She said as she poured something else over my head. I don't even have to look up to know that cameras are out and this is going to be posted all over social media.

I stood and looked at her under my eyelashes. What is her problem? Why do I always have to get messed with. I immediately ran out of there embarrassed from what just happened. I pull out my phone and look for Jackson's number. I tap on it and put the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" He asked with confusion laced in his voice.

"Jackson I'm ready to go." I could still here the music that was coming from his phone.

"Why? What's wrong?" He doesn't even know what happened.

"I'll tell you when you get outside." I say as I hang up the phone. I just wanted to come to a party and have at least a little bit of fun. That's what I get for not staying with someone like my mom said to.

A couple of minutes later I hear the front door open and I turn around to see Jackson walking towards me with the curious look on his face. As he gets closer he realizes that I'm soaked and wet.

"What in the world happened in there?" He asks. I'm still kinda lost from the fact that he doesn't know what happened. He was probably upstairs with one of his late night stands.

"Your crazy freaking girlfriend poured juice all over me and said she 'tripped over her foot'." I scoffed

"I'm sorry are you ok?" He asked with sympathy laced in his voice.

"Yea yea I'm fine it's not like it hasn't happened before." I said looking at my feet. As you may know I'm not good at making friends. Someone always seems to hate me and I don't understand why. Like why can't I just live a normal like without any hate from someone.

Jackson nods and gestures for me to walk to the car so he can take me home. I knew I shouldn't have come to this stupid party anyway. Now I have to go home and explain to my mom why I smell like a freaking dumpster.

Once we get to the car Jackson unlocks the door and we both get in. I put my hands up to my arms and try to give them at least some warmth to them but obviously it doesn't work and I start to shiver from how cold I am. Jackson notices my coldness and as soon as he stops at a red light he takes off his jacket and hands it over to me.

"Here take this." He says putting the jacket over my shoulders. I'm shocked to be honest because didn't expect him to give me his jacket.

"Thank you." I mumble and put my hands up to bring the jacket closer to my body as much as possible. The cologne scent invades my nose and I sigh. This night would've went so much better if I had just stayed home and probably study for some test. I immediately noticed he was going the opposite direction of my home and became anxious.

"Relax Muffin I'm not going to kidnap you." He laughed as he looked straight ahead. It was meant to be a joke but I didn't laugh. It only brought back memories that I wanted to forget about.

A couple of minutes later he pulled up to an ice cream shop and I smiled. I love ice cream it's like the best thing on this planet.

"I didn't know the bad boy could be so sincere." I said as I hopped out the car.

"Yea me either." He mumbled. I really don't think I was meant to hear what he said but I did and that made me curious of what he was talking about but I didn't ask.

We entered the ice cream shop and I ordered a muffin and obviously ice cream and Jackson just ordered ice cream. When we was done ordering I pulled out my wallet to pay but when I looked up I saw the $10 bill being handed to the cash register already. I looked to Jackson and saw him smirking at me and I just rolled my eyes and went to find a seat.

A couple of minutes later Jackson came with my muffin and ice cream and I immediately scarfed down the delicious goodness that was in front of me.

"You eat like a man." Jackson said as he was trying to contain his smile.

"Yea yea heard it before." I waved off laughing.

As we sat there and ate we talked and laughed getting to know each other more. Honestly I didn't think Jackson was nice at all but he's hard on the outside but soft on the inside. I can tell he's a player from the girls he always has clinging to his arm thankful that I wasn't stupid enough to fall to my knees and beg him for attention. I was currently laughing at something dumb that he said but the dreadful question I tried to ignore since I moved here was asked.

"So why did you move here?" Jackson asked, curiousness laced into his voice. My laughter was cut short and my breath hitched in my throat. I don't know what happened to me but I became angry at him.

"Maybe that's none of your business." I said with anger. I hated my past and that was something only my mom would know about. Jackson noticed my sudden anger but he was just to curious to let it go.

"Why wha-" but I cut him short.

" I SAID MABYE IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" I yelled standing up and walked out of the ice cream shop. I could feel everyone's eyes on me as I walked out but I didn't care I needed some air and I needed it quick.

Jackson came running out but didn't say anything probably still shocked from what just happened. I mumbled to him to take me home and that's exactly what he did. When he pulled up to my drive way I could feel his gaze on me like he wanted to say something but before he did I got out the car said a 'goodnight, see you tomorrow' and walked inside my house. My mom was sleep so I didn't have to go through the never ending questions so I went to take a shower.

After the nice hot shower I get ready to go to bed so I turn my light off and climb into my bed. I was slowly drifting off to sleep when my phone dinged letting me know I had a message. I picked up my phone and the message made me regret my decision from earlier today.

Jackson:
I'm really sorry for trying to push you into talking to me. I could tell it was a sore subject to talk about I'm and truly sorry. I hope you will forgive me. Goodnight❤️.

The last sentence put my smile on my face as I drifted off once again into deep slumber.
