I played it safe
And I walked carefully
But my hands started to chafe
So I let go carefree
And I ended up falling
Down the endless stairs
I don't know my calling
Maybe nobody cares
I don't feel any more
For I am already gone
Wishing I could soar
Just wait until dawn
Where did I go so wrong
Can't you hear the church bells
They are in song
I'll wait till their message sells
Just remember one last thing
Keep a tight grip on those handrails
For they will let your heart sing
Without crashings and fails
