Little Guy shrieks
Jumps to his feet
His face lights up with glee
I stare down in shock
I freeze like a rock
Whoops! A mistake by me!
As I explain
Watch his joy drain
Regret my choice of words
Our gap in age
Has set the stage
For paper tablet spurned
