Reader's POV

I sat quietly next to the window in my personal office, sipping my tea cutely as I read one of my newer books; Insomnia by Stephen King.

I read just past page 346 and flipped the page before I was startled from my midnight reading by non other than my twin, Harlow.

Well, sort of.

I felt the air shift, an unhealthy balance of too much evil and too little good.

I sniffed the air, sensing it coming from Robin's room.

I gently closed my book, removing the blanket from around my shoulders too.

I headed up the stairs, the stench of evil getting stronger and the air getting tenser.

Once I made it to Robin's room, I opened the door.

I was slightly shocked to see Robin flipping over and over in her sleep, one of the major signs of nightmares.

"Robin..." I whispered, shaking Robinlightly.

She continued to toss and turn, her arms flying up to show me away from herself.

"Robin!" I whisper-shouted at her, shaking her harder.

Robin flipped towards me and she growled in her sleep, "fuck off, fucking demon..."

She started sweating and crying, small whimpers escaping her lips and she looked as though she was being held down.

I made a barrier go around Robin's room, the bubble I made acting as a soundproof room.

"ROBIN!!" I shouted, shoving her off the bed full force.

Robin woke up with a gasp right before she hit the floor.

Robin hit the floor with a loud thump! And her hands immediately flew to her head, which it what hit the floor first.

"Oww..." Robin whimpered, tears still in her eyes.

Robin took a quick sweep of the room, looking for the thing that woke her up.

Then she spotted me still on her bed, in front of the spot she was once laying.

"What happened...?" She asked quietly.

I shook my head.

"You had a nightmare, you wouldn't wake up so I shoved you off the bed." I said.

Robin processed the information slowly, nodding her head in a slow fashion.

"C'mon, let's go make you a glass of something and you can read with me in my office until you fall asleep." I said, standing from Robin's bedside to help her off the floor.

I bent bown slightly and offered my hand.

She took it, and grasping her delicate hand lightly and pulled her off the floor and hugged her.

"Thanks Y/n..." Robin mumbled.

I smiled kindly, "No problem, Robin."

I popped the soundproof bubble as I opened the door, closing the door behind my twin.

We walked together down the halls, the staircase, and then into the kitchen.

Robin walked to a bar stool, nearly tripping halfway.

I frowned slightly and walked to the cabinets and grabbed a mug from one of the cabinets above the sink.

"Hot chocolate, tea, or coffee?" "Tea"

"Herbal or Iced?" "Herbal"

"Green, peach mango, vinilla blueberry, or chamomile?" "Chamomile"

I chuckled, same thing she liked when we were kids.

I grabbed two chamomile tea bags and I placed the white ceramic mug in the coffee maker and turned it on, the machine heating up the water to a boil before pouring it into the mug.

After the mug was mostly filled, I unpackaged the two tea bags and placed it in the hot white cup.

After a few minutes, I had started up a small conversation with Robin.

We talked whilst I readied her tea.

After I threw away the used tea bags, I handed her the mug.

I guided Robin to my office and we sat together on the seat in front of the bay window.

The window looked out to the woods, a calming sight when you like these kinds of things.

I grabbed a spare blanket and wrapped it around Robin's shoulders, Robin getting up to grab a book.

As she searched my many bookshelves as I looked out the bay window.

It was raining and it was midnight, how much better could it get?

I scooped up my own mug of tea and sipped it, watching the water droplets race down the window before coming together and becoming a huge water drop.

Robin came back as I pulled my own blanket around my shoulders.

She sat down across from me with a book called; Criss Cross by Lynne Rae Perkins, a booked I liked, but not one of my favourites.

Together we read for hours, reading into the hours of the very early morning.

We talked rarely, too indulged into the amazing wonderland on paper in our hands.

This was honestly one of my favourite bonding activities.
