3 weeks later

It's been 3 weeks since Dave and Cassidy have been talking to each other and they were both enjoying every second of it

Even though they hadn't made things official yet they both knew their places with each other and knew not to entertain anyone else

Dasani has dropped all his old hoes and even got a whole new number so none of them could get In touch with him

Right now Cassidy was currently at work and Dave was in the studio getting ready to drop his new single

Dave

"Aye nigga stop fucking around with that gun while you behind me"

"I'm just making sure my shit loaded before we make this run"

"Well don't do it behind me cause if you shot me ima shoot yo ass back"

"Nigga shut up"

"You shut the fuck up yo bum ass"

"Both y'all shut the fuck yo and get to work"

Dave head shot up looking at renzo

"Nigga don't tell me what the fuck to do I tell y'all when to get to work y'all got me fucked up everybody get out except for jt and renzo

JT and renzo was one of Dave's boys from jt was a average size guy while renzo was big and buff they all played basketball together in high school. They all joined the game around the same time so they all ran shit

"Yo I think it's time we start getting back on these corners and selling shit we loosing money we need more supplies to" JT said as they all sat

"Ight you take care of that JT and me and renzo will handle the rest"

Nodding his head they all dapped each other up before going there separate ways

Dasani phone dinged indicating he had a text. Pulling his phone out he looked and saw he had 3 text messages from Cassidy

Cassidy: what color should I get for my nails 👀

Smacking his lips he texted back

To Cassidy: ion know

Cassidy: why can't you just be a cute boyfriend and help me out

To Cassidy: oh so I'm your boyfriend now 🤔

Cassidy: bye!

Smiling he shook his head and walked to his car

To Cassidy: drop location

Cassidy sent her location a few moments later and since Dave knew she was always hungry he stopped by Taco Bell and got her some food before going to the nail salon

"Wassup " Dave said walking up on Cassidy as she sat in the chair getting her nails done sitting in the chair next to her

"Owee look at you bringing me food how'd you know I was hungry" she smiled looking at him

"Cause yo fat ass always hungry shit don't make no sense"

Laughing she shook her head "shutup , where you going after this"

"WE going to chill wit some of my people it's a little kickback that's happening later on"

Smacking her lips she shook her head "I don't wanna go I'm tired of going to kick backs and parties I'm not in college no more"

"so that mean shit you can still have fun stop acting like you old"

Rolling her eyes she watched as the man finished his last few touches before pulling her credit card out paying for her nails

"But I don't wanna go , why can't we just chill alone" she whined

"If you come I'll spend a whole weekend with you I promise"

"Whole weekend?" She asked raising her eyebrow

"Whole weekend girl" I said pulling her close to me and wrapping my arms around her waist

"Alright bet ima drive my car home and ride with you"

Nodded my head I gave her a kiss on the cheek before going to my car

Cassidy

Laying across my bed i kept my eyes on the tv as I watched greys anatomy. Shows like this made me swear I was a whole doctor

This is what I'm planning on doing for the rest of the day since Dave never showed up to pick me up

I haven't really talked to jayda since the cookout she's not really around like that anymore

All I wanted was peace and quiet

"Omg no Derek you can't be dead" I said sitting up on my bed as I covered my mouth with my hand

"I cannot deal this is to emotional for me" I wiped my eyes as a single tear fell down

Hearing the door bell ring I paused the show and got up

Opening the door there stood Dasani high as hell and drunk as ever

Rolling my eyes I watched as he stood there and slurred while stumbling in

"Oo-oh shhhi-tt Uhs-you losk good" he slurred while walking in as best as he could

Shaking my head I closed the door and turned around looking at him "You real full of it Dave you really are"

Grabbing his arm I carefully moved him to the guess room and pushed  him on the bed

"Damn Yu-you like it like that"

"Shutup you can sleep in here tonight"

I said locking the door knowing his drunk self wouldn't know how to unlock until he was sober

Running my hands threw my hair I walked to my room and grabbed my phone

Going to my contacts I clicked my dads contact and listened to it ring before he finally answered

"H-hey dad" I smiled a little

"Who is this" he said making my heart flutter that he couldn't even recognize his own daughters voice

"It's me Cassidy....your daughter"

"I don't have a daughter she's dead" he said before hanging up

Slowly putting the phone down Tears poured out my eyes after 3 years he still holds a grudge against me for something I didn't do

Right now my heart was in pain and all I wanted to be was be held but I couldn't even get that
