I am used to being sent away from home. My parents actually sent me away when I was eight years old to an elite boarding school in England. I was sent to the Dragon School in Oxford then Marlborough School. My parents believed I would be getting less attention and special treatment. That was a positive. But then the people of Mecklenburg-Sterlitz had become annoyed with the fact that their princess was being educated outside of the country so when I wrote my statement to the people
To the citizens of Mecklenburg-Sterlitz
I am attending schools in England to have as normal of an education as I can. I love this country and I am proud to be its princess. But I choose to attend these schools in order to be normal. I will not disclose the information about where I am going.
Now I am going to University. I did my gap year travelling the world and taking on less duties. I choose the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. I did not know that Prince William was going there but the country side of Scotland reminded me of Mecklenburg-Sterlitz.
