The sound of the birds singing outside her window woke her up. She was lying on the bed. The room was reeking with smell of disinfectants that reminds you of illness rather than health. Beside her, sitting on the chair and head leaning on the bed was him. He had stayed awake the whole night and maybe he wasn’t able to fight against it, and he fell asleep.

She gently cruise her hands along his hair. He was sleeping peacefully.

She missed him so much. She missed all the times they were together, all the moments and memories they shared, even the fights they had and the hard decision she had to make. And maybe, love is really about that; accepting someone and loving all the things, good and bad, about them.
