Day 5

We stayed home this time.

I caught a cold.

Going to the funfair the evening wasn't the best idea I had.

You were supposed to work but you stayed home with me.

"Thank you for being here." I said

"It's alright, just relax and try to stay in bed."

"I will try but I really want to walk, I feel numb.."

"Don't you dare going out." You said serious

I smiled, the last time I was sick, you just called me a doctor and went to work.

"Now that I think of it...most of our valentine days took place at my place including our first one." You said

"You had a big ass TV.." I said before coughing

"Now you reveal your true nature! You golddigger!" You joked

I laughed along when suddenly I sneezed scaring myself.

"....Did I really saw what I saw?" You laughed

"Shhh!"

"You just got scared of your own sneeze." You stated

"It happens."

"I will make you a soup, stay here." You said still laughing

I don't want to..

I waited for few minutes but the bed was becoming more and more uncomfortable.

Let's buy a new one...

I sat up and wrapped myself in the duvet, holding the big teddy bear you gave me during our 100 days.

I silently went to the kitchen and saw you reading the recipe on your phone.

I stayed behind willing to scare you when you turn around.

But you just didn't...

Why did you already prepared all the ingredients?!

When the soup was boiling you were mixing the vegetables.I decided I didn't have enough attention so I hugged you from behind.

"Wow! You scared me!" You said

"Mission accomplished!"

"Didn't I told you to stay in bed?"

"I wanted something warm with me.." I tried making an excuse

You scoffed and turned around to hug me back.

I missed these hugs, I missed them a lot more than I thought.

I smiled hugging you, a honest one.

A warm smile.

A smile happy to do something I missed, happy to finally have your entire attention.

A smile who means 'I am happy to be special for you.'
