I woke up from my deep sleep and felt my phone vibrating underneath me. I reached for it and saw all the messages Chres had sent me last night. I quickly turned on the light and began to read them:

12:52 p.m
Hey Jake. I read your message and honestly I can't forgive you. You've been giving me this assumption that we'd be perfect together and today would've been perfect but it wasn't. Ever since you came here, you've been causing trouble and I don't think I need anymore stress in my life.

12:54 p.m
I hope you and Jaay can be happy together...... I'm moving on and I think you should to. Honestly, I think we were moving way too fast and that may be my fault since I asked you to be mine but I guess I was just needy since I'd been single for a while and didn't really have a good relationship with any other boy. It was good while it lasted but I think we just weren't meant to be. I hope you can have luck in the future and maybe we can be friends, but nothing more.

1:02 a.m
I will always love you but I can't sleep at night knowing what you did to me and what we've went through. Sorry 😢

I sighed and locked my phone, putting my face into my pillow and screaming lowly. Why is this all happening to me?
-----------------------------------------

My mom wheeled me down into the elevator and clicked the lobby button.

"Look Jake. I know your not talking to me but I really just want things to go back to the way they were. Before we moved, we had such a close bond." She stated. I shook my head no and looked up at her.

"No. Before you got married we had such a close bond." I scoffed, staring at the elevator wall.

"This is the last straw. The next time you disrespect my husband you can gladly leave." She hissed. I nodded my head and sighed.

"Awesome." I smiled sarcastically, wheeling myself out of the elevator when we reached the lobby and heading out the front automatic door. Marco was sitting outside of the car, waiting for us. He came over to me and came up behind me, wheeling me forward.

"Prepare for hell you little bitch." He whispered in my ear.

"I'm not scared of you. I can wheel myself." I scowled, pushing his hands off of the wheel chair and wheeling my self to the car. I pulled the door open and scooted into the seat. I left the wheelchair there and made Marco fold it up and put it in the trunk since he acts all innocent around my mom. That bastard.
