The Green Thunder (part 2)

'Jeez, where is he taking me that has to have me walk this long??' You wonder, slightly annoyed. 'And why do I have to be holding his hand?' You frown, suddenly feeling the sensation of his black ('not white..') gloved hand in yours once again.

"Luigi where are you taking me?" You whine, trying to tug your hand out of his for what seemed like the millionth time. "It's Mr. L... and you don't have to worry your pretty little head about that!" Mr. L turns his head, giving a sly grin in response to your blank stare.

You finally manage to rip your hand out of his grip as soon as you both get to his destination. You find yourself kind of.. disappointed? 'This is the special date he was boasting all about?' You think, tilting your head.

"Uh.. this is just a park...?" You say, looking at him with a confused stare. "They say the most special dates are where your heart takes you!" He winks at you. You roll your eyes and  cross your arms. "Uh-huh.." you nod, uncertain.

Mr. L looks at you smugly. "Don't you dare doubt me now, (Y/N)!" He chuckles. 'and there, he actually used my real name..' you think to yourself, sighing.

"Okay, well, you seem pretty confident in your choice," you hesitate. "..Mr. L.." The dark clothed man smirks. "There you go." You reposition your arms around each other in silence.

He grabs your hand into his once again, pulling you along with him. "Why are we here, anyway?" You ask, expanding on your question earlier.

"I thought I'd already explained it," Mr. L says, teasing. "But I'll further explain. I wanted to take you somewhere casual, since you wouldn't want to go anywhere too.. intense." He finishes strongly.

You look at him, wide eyed. What does he mean by intense? You think about how much you'd rather be with the actual Luigi now.

So you express those thoughts. "Hey, no offense.." You start. "But I'd rather be with Luigi right now." Mr. L blinks for a moment before cackling. "Of course you would, (Y/N)" He says. "He's really important to you, huh?"

You nod. "Yes, yes. I understand. Although I don't quite get it." He mutters, waving his hand as if to dismiss the matter.

"Nevertheless, you might find we'll have plenty of fun together! Just give me a chance." He holds his hand out to you, cocking his head to the side as he stares into your eyes.

You purse your lips, considering his offer. "Alright.." You mumble, hesitantly placing your hand into his own.

"Perfect!" Mr. L grins widely, pulling you along in the other direction, where all the benches and the people reside.

'Well, this should be.. interesting' You think to yourself.
