[kylie]
Our project is due in two weeks and I'm still dreading over the fact that I have to work with Liam. It's just, boys have been getting on my nerves lately. But I guess Liam is..... A little sweet.
"Hey Ky," he says sitting at, I guess our lunch table. He's been sitting here for a while now. Wait, did he just call me Ky?
"Um... Hi," I say back.
"Girls..." He says to Paige and Karen.
"Hey Liam," Paige says smiling at me. I ignore her. Liam and I will never hit it off. And neither will other boys. Well, maybe Cameron.
"So I was wondering Kylie..." He says looking over to me. Please don't ask me out. I barely know you.
"If you'd like to come over," he finishes. Is that considered a date?
"Come... Over?" I ask nervously.
"Ya. To uh... Work on our project."
"Well," I guess if it's for the project, "Sure."
"Great. I'll give you my address. We can meet this Saturday."
"Saturday?" I ask. Saturday is two days away. It's so close.
"Ya. Is that ok?" He asks. No. It's not ok.
"Um... Sure. I'll see you... Satur-- Satur--"
"Day?" He asks and I nod.
"I guess you won't be hanging out with us huh?" Karen asks.
"Oh sorry guys. You know... It's for school," I say and they shake it off.
Liam then slides his hand into mine. I look over to him with a shocked look.
"Why-- why ar--are," I stutter and he just laughs.
"You're cool with it right?" He asks and before I can answer he holds my other hand.
Now I look flushed. I quickly look back to Paige and Karen.
"Are you ok?" They ask and I slowly nod.
"We're gonna get a drink," Karen says as they both get up.
"No, don't," I say and look over to Liam.
They wink and continue in the direction of the vending machine.
"So... You're having salad, huh?" He asks and I nod. Oh boy...
Cameron's POV:
"Cammy," Paisley says but I ignore her. One, that gets annoying and two, I don't want to talk to her.
"Please talk to me," she begs I shake my head and take a sip of my water.
"What did I even do? Did I forget to kiss you goodbye?" She asks.
"Why don't you go ask your friends," I finally say. "You're always with them so go ahead."
"Maybe I will, because you're not helping at all," she says. I scoff.
"That's the problem, Paisley. You spend so much time with them you never hang out with me anymore."
"So? I love my friends. Don't you have friends?"
"Ye--"
"See. There's no reason for you to be upset."
"Uh, yes there is. The only time you talked to me was when you need a freakin' pencil."
"Because a friend needed one."
"Man paisley. You tend to be a real bi--"
"Beauty?" She asks interrupting me. I scoff again and get up.
