introduction

It's been three months since katya left.
She hasn't spoken to anyone. And nobody knows where she is.
I knew she was having mental health issues, and needed a break. But I didn't know what from.
The words she said before she left keep playing back in my head:
" I just need a break. I don't know when I'll be back, or really what's going on, but I'll be back."

What did she need a break from? From me? Or from everyone? Everything?

The first month she wouldn't answer my calls.
The second month the phone wouldn't ring.
And the third, I've given up.
