It's when the light hits his eyes.
The sudden change, from the sea to the sky, to the clouds, and now he's the trees.
It's something he denies, but I swear it's the color of his eyes.
His coat, the one he loves.
I love the winter now because of that coat- though it's too cold.
His favourite shade, and Link's little hat.
I can't imagine a life where I don't love that.
The space boy's skin and the ship he came in.
The plants at the park, he knows the park I mean.
All those crazy, new love, things.
Even still,
his eyes make my heart sing.
