so theres this hella lit comp that @ophidiae is hosting rn called the designer games (based off the hunger games) and I was way too pumped to make an entry and maybe sorta half assed it?? like not half assed but I feel like it wasn't what I wanted it to be idk.
the prompt was to choose a hunger games district and make a cover based on your character's reaction to being chosen at the reaping or smith like that yeeeet.

The thumping in her chest felt like the fury of a million mercenaries. Her cheeks heated up with every passing second, inviting sweat down her brow. Amongst the mayhem, Silver Dumonté held her head up high, fists clenched, the sheer shawl traversing down her arms. The reverberation of her name through the open air sent shivers down her spine, pricking and punching at her resolve. She gulped and took a step forward, all knowing to the fact that that step, was an invitation to her funeral.
