"I want to be able to call her mine, all mine. You know?"

"No. I don't."

The time they spent together flew by in the blink of an eye before the two could even acknowledge that nearly 7 months had passed. And yet, their bond only grew stronger each day they met at the same, boring, coffee shop. Jungkook looked up at the girl through his dark lashes, seeing a bright smile etched onto her lips that only made his heart flutter by the slightest.

"You're no help."

"I wasn't here to help in the first place. You sort of just- I don't know.. started blurting out your inner thoughts, forcing me to listen to them."

"I'm sorry-"

"I'm kidding, Jungkook. Anyways, it seems like you've got the case of the loner."
Sunmi took a sip at her drink as her eyes flickered between his squinted eyes and pressed lips.
"You obviously want a girlfriend to show affection to or whatever, but the issue is
- sorry to break It to you- you don't have one."

"That's exactly the point." Jungkook sighed while resting his chin against his palm, staring at nothing in particular.
"It's not like I'm begging for a girlfriend, but it'd be nice to be in love, right?"

"Being in love sucks." The girl snapped under her breath, startling the male in the process as she slammed her cup down.
"Especially when it's one sided."

"Oh..yeah, I know how that feels." Jungkook said while fiddling with his straw

"How about instead of wallowing in our lonely thoughts, we go to my place and play some games?"
Sunmi suggested with a genuine smile. The younger nodded hastily, almost too eager as he stood from the table they were seated at and waiting for her.
"Let me put my apron in the back and we'll head out."

"Okay." Jungkook watched the girl walk past him before tossing his drink away. The coffee the shop sold was disgusting, but he needed a reason to come here anyway. His heart still confused him over what he felt over her but he knew he shouldn't over think it just yet.

"Alright, let's go"
Jungkook's larger hand enveloped the girl's much smaller one as she held it out for him, smiling once he took it and lead them out the door.

It was an odd interaction for two friends, and it was even odder when both of their hearts raced at the warming touch. But neither of them dared to press it any further.

"Just a quick warning, Jimin is home and he usually likes to bring company over so.."

"That's fine, it's your home anyway."
Jungkook smiled before they exited her vehicle and made their way to the front door. The male fumbled with the sleeves of his hoodie as he waited for her to unlock the door. As soon as it was open, the two were serenaded with the booming voices of several men inside. Sunmi turned on her heel once more, mouthing a quick,

'I'm so sorry' after entering the small, yet roomy apartment.

Although Jungkook had been over a few times for short time periods, his eyes never wandered about the room as much as they did now. The home was filled with intricate designs and patterns along the walls, accompanied by a singular painting hanging from each one which added a sense of artistic value to the room- something Jungkook couldn't help but gawk over once he began to analyze it all.
