The time young Melinda should have found a lasting meaning for her life, she was with young Robert who promised her a lasting relationship, exactly what she was looking for. You'd later find in the movie that Robert didn't give her that lasting relationship he promised. Part of the reason may have been Melinda's but I think Robert should have lived up to his promise. If he did promise a lasting relationship, he should have made provisions for it. But he didn't. Children. Young Melinda not only needed a lasting relationship but also a lasting provision to sustain that relationship. Robert couldn't make that provision throughout their marriage. Melinda was the one making it. I don't know what meaning you've found for your life but my question to you is, would its provision last?
