The next morning Rose woke up shaking with nerves, today was the day she’d find out whether or not she’d made the Gryffindor Quidditch team. After waking up late she quickly got dressed and rushed down the stairs to the Great Hall for breakfast. Rose crept into the Great Hall hoping that no one would notice her and
squeezed in between Albus and Scorpius ‘Morning’ she said to them both. A few minutes later the owls were coming in to the hall to deliver the letters, Rose was given two letter whereas Albus and Scorpius were given one letter. The three of them opened the letters they all had finding they were from Aimee Watson congratulating them on making the team ‘Yay! I’m a keeper just like my dad’ Rose said smiling from ear to ear, Scorpius was a beater and Albus was a seeker just like his dad and for a short time his mum. Rose opened the other letter which was from her mum
‘Dear Rosie,
We’re so proud of you, well done for having the courage to try-out for the team; something I never had! Your dad is so proud and hopes you become a keeper just like him, you never know you might have a song about you too.

Rose read the whole letter a big smile still on her face. Without eating breakfast she bid goodbye to Albus and Scorpius and ran to the owlery. Once there she took out a quill and a piece of parchment out of her bag and started to write a letter to her parents.
‘Dear Mum and Dad,
I made the team! Wooo so happy! I’m the keeper, just like dad, miss you lots love Rose x’
