"You're gonna fall for them.  Everyone does!" your best friend Sehun tried to convince you.  You were a freshman at your dream university, and Sehun, a sophomore, was giving you the rundown on all the stuff you needed to know, especially who to be friends with and who to avoid.

"So, you're telling me to avoid this group of nine guys?  Why?  They can't be that harmful, can they?"

Sehun shook his head.  "They hold the same status as F4 in Boys Over Flowers.  I wouldn't get involved with them if I were you.  They're not exactly bad news, but there are just so many girls after them, and all of them end up getting their hearts broken."

You laughed.  The reason you were at your dream university was to study, get a good education, and graduate.  You definitely wouldn't be the one moping around with your broken heart.  You had never been interested in the idea of liking someone.  Love, in general, seemed like a waste of time to you- kind of like a weakness of some sort.  You didn't want to be vulnerable.

You were so busy talking to Sehun and looking at where he was pointing that you didn't realize you had bumped into someone until you were on the ground.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," you apologized, scrambling to your feet.  You looked at the person you'd bumped into and noticed how unbelievably handsome he was.  He looked like a Roman statue.  That's how chiseled his face was.  But better.  You tried for a smile, but the guy stared blankly back at you.

"We're sorry," Sehun stammered, pulling you away.  The guy kept staring at you until you and Sehun ran into a building.

"Who was that?" you asked.

"Kim Seungmin," Sehun replied, shaking his head.  "He's one of the nine boys you don't want to mess with.  In my opinion he's the worst."

You tilted your head in confusion.  "Why's he the worst?"

Your best friend shivered.  "Because he's the quietest one in the group.  At least the others voice how they feel about things, but Seungmin doesn't say a word.  The girls go crazy over him.  They all have been trying their hardest to get him to talk to them.  No one has succeeded so far."

You almost laughed.  It was ridiculous that people were so obsessed with this guy.  Sure, he had been good looking, but from what she had seen, he had been so one-dimensional.  Just a blank piece of paper.

"Alright, let's go to class.  You're in the advanced chemistry class with me right?" Sehun asked, glancing at your schedule.  You were honestly relieved you had a class with him.  You were intimidated by how large the classes were, and having someone you knew just made you feel more at ease.

You sat in the middle of the large hall with Sehun when a group of guys waltzed into class.  It was almost as if they entered in slow motion, the light perfectly illuminating their sharp features.  Their hair was perfectly styled, and they radiated confidence.  The nine boys stopped right in front of you.

"These are our seats," the main guy said.

Sehun bowed a perfect 90 degree angle.  "Sorry, Chan," your best friend apologized.

You unconsciously balled your hands into fists.  "Why are you apologizing when you did nothing wrong?" you asked Sehun.  "Don't say sorry when you don't mean it."

Chan narrowed his eyes at you, trying to figure out exactly what you were.  You noticed one familiar face in the group- that Seungmin guy you had bumped into earlier.  He looked on in  amusement, and you felt yourself smile.

"What?  This is funny to you?" the guy right next to Chan asked, folding his arms across his chest.

Sehun shook his head.  "No no no no, nothing's funny, Minho."
