"so how about tonight then? are you free?"
i freeze and respond with "uhh.... i'm not, but my friend is... would that work?"
"uh sure.... can i see a picture or have her instagram?" he asks me.
"yeah," i smile, "her instagram is @ashbaker" i say my instagram.
"okay, great.... i'll dm her." he replies. "and she has pictures of herself on there, right?"
"yeah, let me know what you think of her. she's not as pretty as me but it's something." i shrug. "i don't think anyone could be as pretty as you, kyra"
i sorta frown. "thanks jonah. i gotta go but you can dm her right?"
"yeah... does she like pineapple pizza?"
"she lives for it." i smile and hang up.
then, my phone buzzes. a notification on instagram.
'jonahmarais has requested to follow you'
i smile instantly and accept it. almost a minute after, he dms me.

i get ready and change into something presentable. i have my wallet and phone and that's all i'll need. then, i get a dm from jonah.

i go outside and get into his car, instantly turning to look at him. "hey" i smile at him.
"hey" he smiles back and starts driving once i'm settled. about five minutes into the car ride, i hear three subtle dings. i look at him, then the car.
"JONAH!"
