Not a monster....just lost his way

Negan's POV

I watch as Dr. Carson examines her shoulder while she sits on the foot of my bed and our little girl holds onto her for dear life

"And you did this yourself? With no pain meds? No numbing...nothing?" Dr. Carson asks her

"That's right." She says softly as he pulls her stitches out

"Impressive." Dr. Carson mumbles

"It's definitely infected." Dr. Carson says before he starts to dig in his bag

"The wound has healed enough where it doesn't need the stitches, normally you'd keep them in for about two weeks but in your case due to the swelling I'm gonna leave them out and give you some antibiotics. We do have to ration the--" Carson starts

"No. Give her the normal dose...she's my wife." I say interrupting him

"I see." Dr. Carson says

"Good on you. His wives get treated like royalty." Carson whispers to her as he hands her a bottle of antibiotics

"You done?" I ask causing Dr. Carson to stand up

"Yes, sir." He says before he exits my room

Luci's POV

Wives...

So it's true

I watch Negan as he walks over to a dresser and pulls some clothes out

"Bathroom's in there." He says as he points to a door

"We're fine." I say as I avert my attention from him

"Luci, you're both covered in blood." Negan says causing me to glare at him

"And who's fault is that?" I seethe

"They needed to learn who's in charge." He says

"We. Not they. We. I helped take down your little outpost. I killed just as many people as them!" I yell causing Anna to jump

I sigh before I get up off of the bed with her in my arms and walk into the bathroom

She doesn't need to be a party to a screaming match

I close the door behind me before I walk over to the tub and begin adjust the temperature of the water before putting the drain stopper in the tub

I help Anna out of her blood covered clothes and toss them in a laundry hamper next to the tub

I help her in before turning the water off

"I'll be right in the other room." I say softly before I walk out of the bathroom and close the door behind me

"I didn't know." He says

"It doesn't matter, Negan. It matters that you did it. It matters that my four year little girl just watched her two favorite people in this world die and in such a horrible way. Could you imagine if she knew who you were." I seethe as I cross my arms of my chest

"Let Anna and I go home." I say

"You are home now." Negan says before he sits down on the bed

"Home is with your family. Home is where your heart is." I state

"You sleeping with the leader?" Negan asks as he glares at me

"You sleeping with all of your little wives?" I retort as I unclip my necklace

"Is that the swallow?" He asks as I clip the necklace back together now that it is no longer around my neck

"It is." I say as I walk over to him
