She woke up on a cold winter morning,

A vast, dull and a void dream

Like a starless night.

Rummaging through the deepest corners of her freezing heart,

A huge wave of melancholia swept over

Like sea waves washing ashore.

Only without ebbing away

A pang of sadness leapt over,

With a deepening sense of  darkness,

Blinding out the  coverlets of  comforting light

From every crevices of her fragmented heart.
