First light came and Rian was wide awake staring at the sealing. Her thoughts clouding her mind, pulling her away from what was happening around her
Satna woke up stretching her arms before getting out of bed, she looked up seeing her cousin awake that's when she felt pain on her lower back hissing in pain, remembering last nights incident anger fumed with in her
That's when she planned a quick plan in her head she got dressed, then walked out of the room smirking evilly
Leaving the home that Stoick welcomed them into, she went to the muddiest place she could find once she did, she scooped a bucket full of mud and what ever gunk that was in it then ran back
She saw that Rian walked out of the house and that's when she started going into action
Meanwhile.....
The red headed young girl made her way to the grand hall walking in she saw vikings eat on tables of groups
Her eyes landed on hiccup that was sitting on his own on an empty table. When took her yak milk and loaf of bread, she was about to walk over to hiccup until she was approached by the same kids that she met at the arena
The blonde bloated one walked over to her and smiled kindly "hi I don't think I introduced myself my names fishlegs" he said reaching his hand out for her to shake but she simply looked at him "oh you speak a different language" realising the obvious she understood what he said but she did but not wanting to respond
He grabbed a small journal from his satchel and opened it, going through the pages she got curious and tried to look inside the book standing on the tip of her toes looking from the top of the book only to close as soon as she did.
Putting his hand out again He smiled "arăți c -ca un virme" her eyes widen at his words anger fumed with in her she kicked him in the place where nothing shines and left him in pain
She sat in advance she sat infront of hiccup he looked up from his plate seeing her eating her loaf of bread with her head hung low rolling his eyes he looked back at his plate, the deafening silence between them seemed uncomforting to her for some reason
"so....." she started trailing off
He looked up at her with a glare plastered onto his face, she took that as look for her to keep quite. But continued inhaling then... "I know that I've been hostile to you all the time, it's just I don't know how to act towards a friend, I mean I have friends which are only Satna and uncle Godrick but that is different they are my family, but you...." she trailed off trying to figure out a word to describe him "you are a complete stranger that I met 6 days ago, that I consider a friend" a small smile appeared on her features from how it came out
Hiccup was awe struck he never thought someone that had the guts to stand infront of a dragon with no fear what so ever. Came to him asking him for forgiveness
Her hope vanished seeing that he didn't respond sighing she stood up taking her bread then walking out of the hall, sorrowful that she just lost a friend, a good one, yes he might be the opposite of what she is
But she trusted him, they might've known each other for just a couple of days but they were already good friends in a matter of 1 day
She heard a cluck coming from her right but ignored it still walking cluelesly, another cluck could be heard so she finally looked at the source frustrated and annoyed seeing a couple of chickens staring at the bread in her hands
She looked at them then the bread in her grasp shrugging she threw it to the ground "I lost my appetite anyway" mumbling to herself then walking to where ever her legs take her
Hiccups P.O.V
She apologized, and said that I'm her friend, I'm her friend i was too overwhelmed by happiness to notice her leaving the hall. Once I did I went to look for her, to be honest. I feel bad for fishlegs, he didn't know what he was saying. But definitely took a permanent spot on her bad side with snotlout
I walked out of the hall my eyes scanned the area looking for her but she was no where in sight, can't lose hope now. I looked for Satna hoping she knew where Rian was, making my way to their home I saw her pacing back and forth slightly panicked
"Hey Satna" gaining her attention she looked at me and sighed in relief
"There you are hiccup now come on we need to go" she said walking past me "Now!" I followed behind her
"Where are we going?" I asked
"The the hall"
"But I was there a few minutes ago"
"But we have to be there now" she demanded glaring at me, to be honest I've never seen her glare at me like that, she definitely got that from her father he looks almost as terrifying as my dad
Key word being almost
I remembered the reason I went looking for her in the first place "wait!" She groaned and faced me clearly in a hurry "did you see rian" I asked
Her expression was filled with relief "No I haven't and that's a good thing now come on and no more questions" and with that i stayed silent
We entered the hall seeing my dad, hers, and many others from the council arguing about something I didn't know about
Satna cleared her throat catching the attention of all that were inside "good you're here" Godrick said once he noticed me he whispered something to my father in which he responded with a simple nod.
He walked over to me "son I think you should go look for Rian" he suggested even though it sounded more like a command
Looking at Satna i saw that she looked guilty of something, but what is it i don't know. I obliged with what he said and walked out of the hall shutting the doors close behind me
Why did I come here if they didn't even need me?
I continued searching for Rian, asking Villagers around the place they all said she went into the forest
Making my way there i was now shouting out her name hoping she could hear me but no response
I make my further into the forest the further I did, the more hopeless I got.
In anger I kicked a boulder for some stupid reason, but in the end it just hurt me, I grunted and held my foot soothing the pain
That's when I saw it. Broken branches, trail marks in the dirt curiosity took grasp of me as I made my way to see what happened
But eventually tumbled down. Stupid legs.
Gaining my balance I went over to a broken down tree hoping to sit on it only to see that right past it was a dragon
