It was pitch black and stuffy inside the steel laboratory. I could barely make out Buddy in front of me, and surely would've lost him if he didn't turn around every so often to check on us, his red eyes glowing eerily in the dark. I could feel Monika's hands on my shoulders, most likely for reassurance she wasn't alone. Behind her marched Yuri, Maverick, Craig, and Sayori. All at once, Buddy stopped.
"Hold up," he told us. "There's a big metal door in front of us." I peeked past him. In the dim light his eyes cast, I could faintly make out a metal door in front of us. I stepped forward and tried turning the handle. Nothing happened.
"It's locked," I determined. "Whoever's inside doesn't want anyone getting in."
"Wait a minute!" Monika spoke up. "Buddy, you've got super strength, why don't you just break the door down?"
"But won't that just alert William and G.A.B.E. that we're inside the laboratory?" Yuri asked.
"Chances are, they already know," I heard Craig say flatly. "May as well not keep them waiting."
"Valid point." I turned to Buddy. "Do your thing." Buddy smiled as he took a step back.
"With pleasure." He punched the door with all his might. With a creak, the metal folded in as the door was ripped off its hinges. It fell to the ground with an ear-piercing crash. We stepped through the opening Buddy made and were immediately blinded as the lights were suddenly turned on. I blinked a few times, then gritted my teeth.
Standing before us were two more A.B.E.s, G.A.B.E., and an older man of about 30/40. He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a sinister smirk on his face. He was dressed in a lab coat, and clutched a pistol in his hands.
"Well, well, well," he smirked. "So you've found me. Congratulations! Now I don't have to send my agents out to find you for me." I lifted the rifle I clutched in my hands. The three robots tensed up.
"I take it you're William Willis?" I assumed. The scientist laughed.
"I haven't used the name Willis in two years, not after the police dropped by house to pay me a visit for my laser weapons falling into the hands of gangsters. I've been using my mother's maiden name for a while. You may call me William Afton."
"That guy from FNAF?" Sayori asked. Monika turned around and looked at her.
"FNAF?"
"Yeah, Five Nights at Freddy's. That's not dead, is it?" I looked at William Afton with a new light.
"So you're William Afton from FNAF, building robots that are a lot like Terminators, so you can complete the sinister Project Libitina from DDLC. You are the most unoriginal villain I've run into."
"Hey, shut up!" William snarled. "I don't need to be original. I've got A.B.E.s on standby, ready to move out and distribute Libitina all throughout the state of Idaho. Just picture: Entire towns in chaos! Police struggling to hold the line as swarms of crazed civilians tear each other apart in the street. It will be the biggest terrorist attack in the history of the U.S.! And as for me, I'll be long gone, with $10 billion to back me up from my Islamic friends." Sayori looked disgusted.
"So this whole project you've been working on has just been to get money from terrorists?"
"That's pathetic!" Monika shouted. "You are a petty, shortsighted, greedy old man."
"Well, if the boot fits, then wear it," Afton smirked. "Of course, before my henchman can move out, I'll need to do deal with the man who's destroyed so many of my loyal pawns." He glared at me. "Kill him!" The two A.B.E.s surged forward. They didn't get very far, however. I shot one in the head, blowing up his head. Yuri threw her knife, impaling the other one through the neck, which Buddy quickly used to rip his throat out. The two robots collapsed.
"Thanks, guys," I grinned. William cursed.
"Blast!" He turned to G.A.B.E. "Take care of him!" he shrieked, pointing at me. Then he pulled out a remote control and pressed a button. "A.B.E.s, move out!" I looked at Buddy and Yuri hurriedly.
"Quick, Buddy! You and Craig take care of the A.B.E.s. I'll handle Afton!" Buddy nodded. He handed Yuri her knife as the two of them, Craig, and Sayori ran back the way we came, to cut off the A.B.E.s as they exited the lab. I turned back around just as G.A.B.E. punched me in the face, sending me flying.
"Abe!" Monika cried. I stood up, then charged G.A.B.E., slammed into him, and rammed him into a wall. We crashed into it, and robot used the support behind him to keep himself standing as he smashed my shoulders with his fists, driving me to the ground. Then he tossed me away. I flew over a lab table, taking out a large number of test tubes and vials. Still, I grabbed a piece of glass, and as G.A.B.E. approached, jammed it into his foot. He grabbed me and tossed me again. Thankfully, I landed next to Monika, who had picked up the rifle, and handed it to me.
"Thanks, Monika." I took aim and shot G.A.B.E. in the face. A part of his head was dented, but he just staggered, and surged forward again. So as he came close, I brandished the gun like a club, and struck him in the head with all my might. He was quick too recover, however, and grabbed it out my hands. He broke it in half over his knee.
"Game over, human," G.A.B.E. sneered. Just then, I felt Maverick place something in my hand.
"Go get 'em, Abe," he told me. It was Nathan's machete. I charged forward and stabbed G.A.B.E. in the chest, pushing it in until it protruded out of his back. However, he just turned his hand upside down, and suddenly a small cord shot out of it, and attached itself to me. Moments later, an electric shock surged through it, and into me, unfortunately. Monika covered her eyes as I spazzed out, and collapsed. Still, I managed to struggle back to my feet, only to be met with a sharp pain in the neck. Afton laughed, smoke curling from his gun.
"Uh-oh, looks like someone forgot to take their medicine. Luckily, I have some to spare." I pulled another Libitina dart out of my neck. Already, the overwhelming desire to hurt people was back. My vision went red again. I started to foam at the mouth. "Good boy," William grinned. "Why should I waste time having G.A.B.E. destroy you, when Abe can do it for me?" I clutched my head as it throbbed, but this time, it was different. I felt more in control. I turned to look at G.A.B.E. Monika looked at him, too, then realized what was about to happen.
"What a gift to relish," I chuckled. I belted the robot hard across the head, sending him soaring backwards. "A victim that can't perish." Afton's smile faltered.
"What?" As I stomped after my prey, I heard Monika sigh.
"Again with Megalovania, Maverick?"
"Oh yeah," he grinned. "The clash of the titans is about to begin."
