Shouldnt be a red card

Mias POV:
'Don't listen to him Mia, remember what happened last time you doubted Jess.' Marcus warned.
'You nearly died, ah, I heard. I'm glad your recovering.' Sergio hissed, mockingly.
I nodded.
'Well, have fun.' I Said walking away, Marcus chuffed that he had managed to stop me smacking him.

'I will.' He nodded.
I wiped my hand disgustedly as I sat down besides my boyfriend, and Gareth.
This game wasn't part of the World Cup. Just an England friendly.
Gareth rubbed my back and I laid my head on his shoulder.
'It will be ok.' He Smiled.
I nodded and the game kicked off.
'Mia I.' Started Jesse.
'Jess, was what you told me true?' I Asked.
'Why wouldn't it be, Mia I don't lie to you.' He said angrily.
'I'm not angry that you did it, I totally understand. And I can't get angry with you when I let my brother off for it.' I Said.
'Then why can't I play?' He Asked.
'You would actually kill him. That's the difference with you and Del, he mostly keeps himself to himself, I'm worried about Marcus and Kyle this game getting involved. But I think they're all in the mood to start a fight today.' I Said slumping in my chair.
He nodded and squeezed my hand.

'It's just him.' I Said shaking my head.
'What has he done?' He Asked suddenly slipping into his overprotective boyfriend mode.
I shrugged.
'Making me question everything. He's so good with his words I even questioned you for a second. And I'm so ashamed that I did it but it happened.' I Said panicking.
'It's fine baby don't worry, that's what he does.' He said leaning over and putting his hand on my thigh.
I nodded, swallowing a lump in my throat and struggling to smile.
That's when something kicked off on the side of the pitch.
Sergio pushed Marcus over, sliding him off the pitch. He was smirking. Marcus got up and pushed himself on him, head butting him.
The whistle was suddenly blown. Jess managed to run on to the pitch.
'Cut.' Said Jack to his camera people. He knew now wasn't the time to film.
'I'm so sorry.' I Said disappointedly putting my hand on Jacks arm.
'It's fine, go sort him out, I'll see you in abit.' He Smiled.
I nodded and stood up, making my way to the sideline.

A red card was pulled out and Marcus was dragged off the pitch. They had no choice. Jess had to be subbed on. They carried on the game whilst he ran to get changed. He promised me with his world that he wouldn't do anything.
Gareth let me deal with Marcus. He said Marcus would be angry if he spoke to him.
'M?' I asked grabbing his hand.
He looked down at the floor.
I squeezed him tighter and pulled him into the changing room.
'What happened I asked?'
'I dunno, it was all good. The most He was giving me was looks but I went for the tackle and he pushed me straight over. He then whispered some stuff to me.' He Said quietly.
'What?' I Asked.
'It doesn't matter.' He said shaking his head.
I nodded.
He wouldn't tell me until later.
'I'm not gonna lie and tell you that I'm ok with it.' I started.
'I know and I'm sorry.' He sighed.
It suddenly hit me and I realised what he had done.
'Red card?' I Asked standing up.
'Mia?'
'Wait, that shouldn't be a red card.' I exclaimed.
'What do you mean?' He Asked.
'A similar thing happened years ago. He should've got it. But he knew the angle the camera caught the incident would've done him justice.' I Said standing up and opening the door.
I walked back downstairs to the stadium dragging Marcus with me.
I wasn't happy that Jesse was on the pitch with Sergio but there was nothing I could do.

I took my seat besides Gareth.
'That shouldn't be a red card.' He muttered.
'Thank you.' I Said throwing my arms In The air.
'I swear if that ref does one more thing wrong I'm going out there.' I Said putting Jesses training coat on.
'Your not.' Said Marcus.
'Watch me.' I Replied.
'Your pregnant.' He stated. I looked at him stupidly.
'Doesn't mean I can't kick ass.'
