Halloween

     Virgil was happy. No, Virgil was ecstatic. No one really knew why. Virgil came skipping into the commons where Logan, Patton, and Roman sat. "Hey, uh Virge is something wrong?" asked Roman. "Whaddya mean?" Virgil looked at him cheerily. "Well you see your um happier then usual." "Not that thats a bad thing" Roman added quickly. "Do you guys not realize what the date is?" We all looked at each other. It was just October. Nothing special is happening. "C'mon guys. Its almost Halloween!" He used his hands for emphasis. "Ummmm Vigil its October 3rd" Logan said. "Yeah but Halloween is sooooo close. I mean like Halloween!" Virgil said. Then he snapped and the room was decorated with cobwebs, pumpkins, and skeletons. "Virgil its still 28 days away. Its not even that close." Logan said. "But Halloween!" Virgil cheered slightly less cheerful. He suddenly threw spiders at Roman who screamed like a child. "Virgil there is no point-" Logan got cut off by Patton," Logan shut your ever flapping gobstopper." "But-" "Shhhhhh. Anyway it is really nearing Halloween. Right son?" Virgil smiled wide. He looked like Patton on Christmas. "Thats right dad. I can't wait for the haunted houses. I am sooooo excited to get tons of free candy. But no candies that are wrapped like reeses, lollipops, hershey kisses, etc. But I am dying with excitement." Then he threw candy up in the air. "Halloween!" he yelled before skipping off humming Spooky Scary Skeletons. What a happy day.
