Curiosity

The word inevitable is scary.
No matter how far away it is - in fact, the longer the wait is, the stronger the pain of curiosity.

I think the most painful emotion is curiosity; more suitably dread (thanks @PhantasmAssassin XD) the feeling of not knowing. Because if you don't know that you don't know something, how do you know it's even really there?

That's why I hate surprises. Because you don't know what it is. You know what else is a surprise? Death. And the thing is, no matter how long we live, death is inevitable. And a surprise. It's an inevitable surprise.

Do we look forward to death? Or do we try and run from it? No one will know, but we will still reach it. No matter how much you do to distract yourself, you can't slow down time. It's still coming at the same pace.

The beautiful, yet dark surprise taking a step closer with every tick of the clock.

'Tick' Step 'Tock' Step 'Tick' Step 'Tock' Step

Death is coming closer, and you can't do anything about it.
