Chapter 11: Dead?

Ax is hiding something from me. Kinutuban na ako simula noong ilang araw siyang wala sa bahay. My heart beats faster as I arrived to our house. But I caught a motorbike behind that watching me. I get my gun and started to reload it.

They hide my husband from me. And they won't kill me immediately. Pagkababa ko sa kotse ay nilapitan ko ang lalaki na nakasakay sa motorbike niya. He seems familiar. Bago pa ako makalapit sa pwesto niya ay tumawa ito. He removed his helmet only to find out, it was Caden. Damn!

"You surely want to kill me, Jean?. I'm not the traitor here. Anyway, I'm here to hand you the information I get" he stated as he handed me the folder. But before he handed it, we heard gunshots. Caden immediately get the gun out of his pocket and fired back. I also did. "Let's get out of here, Jean" he said.

"I need to get something inside before we go back" I said. Pipigilan sana ako ni Caden pero tumakbo na ako sa loob. Kailangan kong makuha ang iba pang dokumento sa loob. This is the proof of everything Sophia has done to us.

Malapit na ako makaakyat sa kwarto namin ni Alexander nang pinaulanan ako ng mga bala. Shit! Mabuti nalang nakayuko ako. I quickly get inside of the room. Where did I put the documents? Tumigil ang barilan sa labas kaya naging mas alerto pa ako. I smiled when I finally get the documents. Mabilis kong tinungo ang terasa. Damn! Ang taas ng pagtatalunan ko. Anyway, I don't care. Mabilis akong tumalon. "Aray" bulalas ko. But before I could stand, nakatutok na sa akin ang baril ng mga armadong kalalakihan.

Lumabas sa gilid ang isang lalaki na sigurado akong inutusan ni Sophia para patayin ako. "How's the Gangster Queen?" he asked then chuckled. Mahigpit ang pagkakahawak ko sa baril. "Wala ka ng magagawa ngayon, Alyssa. You are just a loser"

Loser your face. Did he ever think he can kill me so easily?. I rolled my eyes that makes him laughed. Baliw. Habang abala siya sa pagtawa ay binaril ko ang isang tauhan niya at tumakbo. "Shit!" he cursed. But then he just laughed like an evil one.

I groaned when I got shot. I felt the pain in my shoulder as the blood flows on it. Nagtago ako sa kwarto ni Demi. I heard footsteps outside. I also hear the guy voice calling me. Mapang-asar. My vision started to blurry. No. It can't be. Mamatay ako dito. I shooked my head as I dialed Ax number. Palapit ng palapit narin ang boses ng lalaki kaya naging alerto ako. I slowly closed my eyes as I felt the pain. May naramdaman akong isang yabag kaya napadilat ako.

My vision blurred but I saw a figure of the man in front of me. He's wearing a mask on it. But when he removed it, my heart beat faster as I stare to him. I waited for him to comeback. And now, he's here I can't uttered a word. Umupo siya sa gilid ko at ginamot ang sugat ko. When our eyes met, my tears started to fall. "Love" He whispered. I miss him so much. Yumakap kaagad ako sakanya. He embrace me so tight. "I thought I lose you" he said.

I cried in his arms. Pagkatapos ay tinulungan niya akong makatayo. I kissed him. And he responds into my kisses. We stayed like a minute before he speak again. "Why did you put yourself in danger again? What if I didn't come to rescue you? You almost die, Alyssa" he said.

"Mabuti nalang at tumawag si Caden kay Ax. But Ax didn't find any trace of Caden after the call. Sophia might caught him." he stated. So this is the secret Ax been hiding for?.

"I just get the important documents, love. But I'm fine" I said.

"You are just fine in that situation?!" He's mad already. I kissed him. "I'm fine. Malayo ito sa bituka."

"I miss you" he said. "I miss you too"

"We need to go back now. Dahil sigurado akong babalikan pa tayo dito. Na alam na ni Sophia ang pagbabalik ko" he said. Akma sana siyang tatalikod ng hinila ko siya.

"Can we stay for a minute? I miss you" I whispered.

"Let just continue after this. We can't let our children in dange--" I cut him off as I attack him with kisses. Nang magkahiwalay kami ay natawa pa siya. "You force me to this. And I don't know what our children could think, na inuna pa natin ito" he said as he carried me to the bed.

"I thought you are dead. So all this time, you are using Sophia? She trust you that much?" I asked. He brushed my hair down. Nakahiga ako sa braso niya at matamang tinitigan siya. He chuckled when he see me staring at him.

"Are you jealous?" he asked me. Nakakairita. "Sino ba namang hindi magseselos na hinalikan kapa niya? When we met, I will surely pulled a trigger into her head." Natawa pa si Alexander sa sinabi ko. Niyakap niya ako ng mahigpit.

"I didn't respond in her kissed" he said. At talaga pang sinabi niya iyan. "I will respond to the kiss if it is you" he whispered.

Sus! Nagpapabola naman. "Parang nasasanay ka na sa mga pabola mo sa akin, Mr. Smith"

"I'm always like that to you. Only you" he said. "What are you worrying about, wife? I'm all yours. Kakabalik ko palang pero miss na miss mo na agad ako. Inuna pa natin ito kaysa sa mga anak na---aray"

"Ang daldal mo" sabi ko. Napahawak pa siya sa dibdib niyang pumula dahil sa pagkakakurot ko. A phone call interrupted to our moments. It was Ax.

"Dad, where are you?" Ax asked.

"What happened?" I asked. "Mom, you already met Dad?"

"Yes. You hide it from me, Ax." I said. "Cut the crap! What happened?" Alexander asked.

"Demi. Something happen to Demi. Sophia captured her." Ax stated.

Fuck! Kahit na alam ko ang kakayahan ni Demi ay hindi parin ako mapanatag. We need to get her out of the lion's cage.
