Lauren was greeted off the plane by her mum and younger sister
"LOZZZYYY" Reese screamed running up to the sleepy girl
"Hey Reesey how are you" the older girl says picking up her little sister and hugging her tight
"I'm good but I missed you sooooooo much" she replied
"Hey mama," Lauren said reaching her mom and hugging her tight too
"Missed you beautiful girly, how was LA?"
The tree sheared small conversation all the way home where Ryan and Josh were waiting for them with a welcome home poster and homemade cookies.
Lauren was so happy to be home but she truly deeply missed her brother, boyfriend and best friends, but she put a smile on her face.
"It's really late, we should all go get some sleep" Myta said smiling and yawning
"Good idea mom, goodnight dad night Reese, glad your home Lauren" Ryan said hugging her
"I'm glad to be back, I've missed you so much Ry" she said hugging him back
Lauren's Pov
*Two day time skip*
Today was the first day back to school from summer, and honestly, I'm so nervous, I haven't spoken to Olivia all summer long and I've seen her talking to other friends, I hope she still wants to be my friend. And well the fact of what happened when Zach was releasing his songs, Everyone seemed to either hate me or want to be my 'best friend'
"Mama do I really have to go to school? Can I not just do online school, like Zach?" I pleased the nerves starting to just make me feel sick
"Try it for two weeks, Lauren, if it's really as bad as you think I'll put you onto online school" she smiled sweetly taking me into a hug
"See you at 4 mama" I said grabbing an apple and heading through the door
I walked to the corner where I usually meet Olivia, she was nowhere to be seen.
10 minutes, still nothing
20 minutes. Nothing. Now I look like an idiot.
I start to walk towards the school in an attempt not to be late, then I see her, Olivia, standing with another group of girls, I walk past and all five of them just glare at me,
WHAT. THE. HELL. DID. I. DO?
I put my head down and carry on walking, now putting in my earbuds to drown out the murmur of all the people staring at me.
I walk straight to my locker to put away my gym kit and spare notepad, as I open it an abundance of notes fall out that I quickly scoop up and put into my hoodie pocket and walk as calmly as I can to the toilets where I can read these notes.
'Stupid'
'Golddigger'
'Talentless slut'
'Your brother is so pathetic'
'You're a waste of oxygen'
'As if having a famous brother isn't enough(Who by the way shouldn't be famous he is actually a talentless attention seeker)
you just HAD to go date one of his bandmates for extra clout, I bet you don't even like him'
Ouch that one hurt the most
I couldn't take anymore, I put all the papers into the trash, dried my eyes and walked to my tutor group.
I took a seat in the back of the room where I'm to stay for the next 45 minutes.
Tutor is pointless, we don't actually learn anything so I put my earbuds back in and folded my arms and put my head on top causing away into the music that's just so happened to be the playlist I made of the boys solo songs, the first one to come on being one of Zach's, why. I love this song so so much. I really miss him, I miss him so so much. I miss them all. Corbyn's jokes, Jonah's knowledge, Jack's goofiness, Daniel's all round amazing and most of all Zach's hugs. I know it's only been a few days but I'm not going to be able to see them for so long. God, I really need to pull myself together. COME ON LAUREN.
"Hey, Lauren are you okay?" Jay asked
"Huh? What yeah me I'm good" I lied
"No your not take out your headphones and talk to me" he said
"Well everyone seems to hate me since I came back and Z was part of the band" I started
"I don't hate you, Lauren, I think your amazing, don't let them get to you, your strong amazing and such a positive person it hurts me to see you like this" Jay said hugging me "I've missed talking to you a lot, we used to talk all the time" he said
"You're not wrong" I laughed starting to feel genuinely better "quick question what happened to Olivia? She didn't meet me this morning and when I saw her she glared at me" I sighed
"She not the same person, she met that girl she was probably with this morning the day after the dance show. She's such a bad influence on her. Just honestly ignore her. Everyone's just not used to having a sorta famous person at school, give them a day they'll come round" he smiled
"Thanks, Jay. Zach says hi, by the way, he 'misses you, bro'." I said quoting my brother and laughing slightly
"Haha, how is he doing?" Jay laughed "are those guys gonna look after him?"
"I definitely trust them to, they are amazing guys" I smiled
Our tutor gave us our timetables so me and Jay compared and turns out we have almost all lessons together which is good, we only have a different Gym and history class which is good because I don't have any of those till tomorrow.
"Thank you, Jay, I really didn't want to come in today. But I'm glad I did now" I smiled.
With that, we went on with our day.
A smile upon my face realising that actually, let the haters hate, I'm done caring for their opinions. I am me and I am happy.
