Moon

You are my moon

So majestic

Yet unreachable

Your glimmer

Is so captivating

I used to be afraid of the dark

But because of you

I learned how to love the dark

Because when it's dark

And the night comes

I always see you

You just don't know how I love your presence

You

With me

On a starry night

You unveil the beauty of the dark

You were always there

In the darkness

I feel comfort

In the light

I found hope

You were so strong

And as stunning as the moon

But why are you hiding your pieces?

You are actually stunning at each and every turn

Why would you hide?

But remember that

You don't have to be full

In order for you to radiate beauty

I will always love you deeply

Because you

Are the only light

That can save me

From the darkest nights

I can feel safe

Because I'm with you

My one and only moon
