(Tom and Reader got a little surprise)

You giggle as you see Tom's picture that he sent you just now. He's wearing a white cowboy hat as he winks at you. Then, he calls you.

"Love the hat", you say.

"Thank you, darling", he says in a Texas accent, then change back to his normal British accent, "How are you?".

"Ok and baby is ok too", you say.

"It won't be long", he says and you can detect the excitement in his voice. Then, you feel something painful and wet.

"Love? Are you alright?", he asks.

"I think the baby's coming", you say before groaning in pain.

"Sweetheart I need you to stay calm. Call my mother and I'll jump on the first flight home, ok?", he says, "Grab the house phone and keep this phone on until mum arrives".

You do as you're told. When his mum arrives, she takes the phone and tells him to be calm as she drives you to the hospital.

You clutch the hospital blanket and sheet until your knuckles turn white. "My dear, you have to push. The baby will suffocate if you don't", says your mother-in-law.

"No, I need Tom to be here. Where is he?", you say, despite being in pain for more than 6 hours now.

Then, the door burst open and Tom appears. "Did I miss anything?", he asks.

"Tell her to push Tom", says the midwife.

Tom grasps your hand and kisses it. "Darling, you have to push", he says and he is there until the baby comes out.

"It's a girl!!", says the midwife.

She hands the baby to the nurse to get the baby clean up and swaddled before handing her back to her parents.

"Cadence Olivia", says Tom as he sits next to you with little Cadence in his arms.

"She's perfect", you say.

"And beautiful like her mum", says Tom before kissing you and little Cadence.
