Rose's eyes watched her sleeping husband with love. Her hand reached out and stroked the side of his face. The Doctor, no, her Doctor, opened his eyes slightly and smiled at her.
"Good morning, love." He says huskily. He pulls her closer to him, kissing her. He feels her smile into the kiss and he tries to deepen it but she pulls away.
"Not today." She says pecking him on the lips quickly before getting out of the bed. "We have to get to headquarters. A group of Sauntorons were found and captured an hour ago and they want us there." She goes over to a small crib and picks up their two month old daughter, Lily, smiling. She gets Lily ready before handing her to The Doctor while she gets ready.
He watches her as she dresses, befOre handing her the baby and getting ready himself. "Torchwood is so petty. They call us in for the simplest things. One alien. Just one! Thats all it takes and our phones are ringing. I'm The Doctor, well the meta-crisis version, well the human version, well I'm half Time Lord but thats beside the point. I shouldn't be bothered by a couple of sauntarons. Call me up when the world is in some real danger." He continues walking around throwing his arms about.
Rose smirks at him. "Are you quite done, Doctor? We should be going." She says as she grabs her car keys. He huffs slightly before following her.
As she locks their house he leans in behind her and whispers. "Alonsy, dear Rose, Alonsy." He then continues to the car and watches Rose who seemed almost frozen. When she turns she has a faint smile one her face, but her eyes are slightly watery. He knew she was thinking of The Doctor, The real Doctor. She would from time to time. Sometimes it was something he said or did, sometimes she would just think of him out of the blue. He knew she loved him, but he also knew that a part of her heart also belonged to the true Doctor. And that there was nothing he could do to stop it, even if he wanted it to.
She walks quickly over to their neighbors who watched Lily for them. She then turns back to the car.
"Ready?" She asks once she got in the car.
He nods and grabs her free hand, squeezing it slightly. She smiles at him gratefully before pulling away from their house.
The car ride continued in silence. He couldn't help but feel as if something was coming. Something that would change both of their lives.
Hello Sweeties. ;) I'm writing this slowly and I'm getting ahead so I don't have to fret about writing. I actually won't upload this book until I'm at chapter 5. So if your reading this I'm at chapter 5. lol :)
