another part of my wip fanfic :D

Sabre watched in awe and fear as the colorful being jumped onto the top of the hill. He watched as Nightmare growled and took a step back, a second later teleporting away.

"Who are you?" Sabre asked.

"Why, I'm Rainbow!" The other cat exclaimed, curiosity in his eyes.

"No, I don't mean that," Sabre argued. "I mean: who are you, really?"

Rainbow stared for a few moments, tilting his head to the side in confusion.

"Well," he began. "I'm the one that's been prophesized(?) to defeat the Nightmare King."

I really like how this turned out! I also might stick with this type of shading but idk. Anyways, have another ref sheets :)
I tried to make Rainbow Steve look like a calico/tortoiseshell cat, but I don't think it looks like that, but I'm pretty much proud of this design. Even though it's pretty difficult to draw since it has a lot more details that I have to get right than the others Oof rip.
