World mental health day.

This day means a lot, 3 years ago up until about May I was battling with severe anxiety and depression. I went through therapy for 2 years, was on anti depressants for 1 and a half. But I overcame my depression with the help of my therapist and my friends and family. I am now a full year clean. It's been rough and I'll have my days where I just want to self harm again but I know I'm not going to do it because it would hurt friends and family and those around me that care about me. When ever you feel depressed or feel like you don't belong. Don't hesitate to reach out to those people that care about you. Reach out to an adult, whether it's a parent, family member, school counselor, school administrator, Doctor, etc, also don't ever be afraid to contact the suicide hotline.

The thing that helped me with my depression aside from therapy was listening to music. That still works for me to this day.
