I blinked.

Then I heard distant sirens

Someone was hovering me.

The paramedics came and lifted her up on the stretcher

We hurriedly ran to the ambulance and they put her in and I climbed in with her

They put the breathing mask on her

Her eyes were opened a little..

I leaned on the bed and everything was just moving so fast.

2 hours later

The beeping of her monitor sounded in the room.

The ticking of the clock made me impatient.

I stroked her cheek right below her bruised purple eye

Her hand twitched and I looked at her face as she slowly fluttered her eyes opened

She looked at me and instantly frowned

She slowly lifted her hand and wiped my falling tear

" Don't cry baby... I'm good " she said in a soft voice

She patted the spot next to her and I laid next to her putting my head on her
