A/N: This is a piece of homework I did for English. Our teacher showed us 10 minutes of the film "The Howl" and we had to write a random story based off of what we saw/could think of. Enjoy :)

I get off the train to check on the driver. I walk a few metres in the direction in which the driver walked. A lump on the ground comes into view through the thick fog. My heart pounding in my ears, the pit in my stomach growing, i walk closer. When I finally see what the "lump" is, I start shaking. It's the driver. The train drivers lifeless body is laying on the side of the track, a hole in his chest. I look next to him and I see a bloody knife . Terrified, I turn around and run back onto the train. I get on and lock the doo behind me.

"What happened?" A passenger asked me, noticing my quickened breathing.

"Th-the d-driver he-" I stop, not being able to say the last few words.

I hear a band coming from the end of the carriage, I walk to where the noise came from. I look out one window and see nothing but trees. Then I turn around and slowly walk over to the window on the opposite side of the carriage. My eyes widen and my breath gets caught in my throat as two hands appear on the window, then they slowly move down, leaving a trail of blood going down the window. The people standing behind me scream in terror. We hear the person banging on the side of the train. We run and hide under the seats, some people pulled out their phones trying to contact the police. Luckily, one person got through to them, they explained the situation and the police would be here in 30minutes to an hour.

The lady calling the police was asked to stay on the line incase something else happened. After a minute of silence there was a loud banging sound on the carriage door. We all tried to stay silent but a few terrified whimpers were heard. The person just continued to hit the door. Then, another minute of silence. I close my eyes as I hear a loud scraping sound coming from outside. Then it stops. I open my eyes and look up, the person is staring at us through the window. I can slightly see some of his facial features. It's a man, he has a smirk plastered on his face. I gasp and close my eyes again. I hear the faint sounds of sirens coming from far away. I look up once again just in time to see the man run away. A wave of relief washed over me as I release a breath I didn't realise I was holding. The sirens get louder and flashing lights come into view. Shortly after I see a flashlight outside and a police man comes to the carriage door. I instantly get up and unlock it. The police man comes in and asks if everyone is okay. They get some more police cars and take up to the police station to ask us about everything that happened. However, no matter how much they investigated or questioned us. The man was never found.
